Well then, it's also must be a good thing for San Diego and Rivers that Kiffin's defense is considered to be a relatively simple scheme as well. So easy in fact, that despite missing half it's starting DL...it has produced the 2nd most sacks in the league, is tied for 5th in the league for most forced TO's, has a defensive TD, etc.

Sounds like they want to focus on the pass just like Rams. If we can't run on their seven man fronts they probably will rattle tony. Oline has to play above average on Sunday. I have zero worries about our defense

The key to beating San Diego is rattling Rivers. He's similar to Romo in that he can produce big numbers but he can also suffer a lot of turnovers.

That is simular to most every QB you get enough pressure on them get in their face they will throw picks.

Not many QB's suffer as many turnovers as Romo and Rivers. They're able to overcome some of them due to their productivity. Some viewed this season as a make or break season for Rivers who's suffered 47 turnovers the past 2 seasons. Like Romo he can be terrific and he can also be terrible. if he gets hot like he did vs Philly in week 2 we could be in for a shootout on Sunday.

and guys like Brady and Brees get a ton of time in the pocket, but when you can put pressure in their face they too make mistakes. taking 1 part of the equation (The QB) without putting the other parts of the equation (OL) is not the same

Some of Romo's worst plays have occurred when he's had all day in the pocket and some of his greatest plays have come about when he's had little time but manufactured a great play due to his escapability. Using Brady and Brees to defend or make a point about Romo isn't going to get you very far because he's not at their level. All QB's make mistakes it's the nature of the position but a big problem with Romo has been his decision making especially in critical games. Although Rivers has won more playoff games than Romo his TD to turnover ratio in elimination games is 8-10 which isn't much better than Romo's 8-12 TD to turnover ratio in his 7 elimination games.

When a QB has accomplished as much as Brady and Brees have accomplished their mistakes aren't nearly as scrutinized as QB's whose teams keep coming up short every year. Brady and Brees have had some great seasons that resulted in championships. If Rivers had a SB win on his resume he wouldn't have entered this season with some thinking it was a make or break year for him in San Diego. It's the coming up short EVERY season that makes a QB's mistakes stand out more and eventually lands them on the hot seat. What keeps QB's like Rivers and Romo starting year after year is their production and the hope they'll eventually put it all together and win a championship.

The guys has a point. Romo doesnt look as mobile as he used to be and he does tend to make those head scratching mistakes when the defense is consistently around him but this isnt a revalation though, id say most qb's dont perform as well under duress.
