Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad) is from the Boise area. Went to high school with him. Was never really friends with the guy but our circles crossed paths a few times and I've spoke with him.

That's about the extent of famous awesomeness for SlammedZero.

Have met a ton over the years, but a pretty fun one was back in the 80s when Iused to ride in the Endymion Mardi Gras Parade.
The riders had a casual Riverboat party the night before and my table of six included Heather Locklear and Tommy Lee.
Lots of drinks and laughter that night. So much fun.

If you live in Dallas (not the burbs, but inside 635 loop) you quicly find out that although its the 5th largest metro area, the athletes are easily accessible.
If you go out in the various areas you will see them and they embrace the city.
Never have been an autograph seeker, but guessing I’ve directly met more than 50-75 or so Mavs, Cowboys, Stars, Rangers.

Not sure the pros even count in this thread theyre so accessible.
My sons best friends sister actually hangs out with Aikmans daughter, for example....both go to ESD

When I lived in Austin, I ran into Alex Jones fairly often, lived in the same part of town, I'd see him at various stores and such. I spoke with him a couple of times, while we waited for our take out pizzas. This was in the mid 2000's and he wasn't as big or well known. He was totally different from his on air persona. We talked about normal neighborhood stuff, some new place that opened nearby, or some road construction that was a PITA, complaining about the Blockbuster in that shopping center........lol

Met a lot of celebs, a good friend of mine was in a hit movie in the 90’s when we were kids. Actually had another friend in that movie as well. Lots of celebs live in my town just north of Hollywood, Burbank etc...

I went to school with Lisa Welchel. The spoiled rich brat on Facts of Life.
My ex girlfriend was best friends with porn star Shay Sweet.(Don't Google at work)
Hung out with the metal band Pantera when they still played all over Dallas/Ft.Worth.
Seen and talked to Daryl Johnston and David LaFluer in the Ft.Worth Stockyards
Got to go back stage at a Cinderella-Ratt concert because I was dating a girl that worked for Z-Rock. An all heavy metal station.
Tom Keifer was underappreciated, imo.

I worked with Clay Walker the country singer before he made it big. We were good friends for a while although I have not talked to him since he left town after signing his first record deal. We used to go see him perform at the local bars. He was great and I knew he would make it big one day.

I met another celebrity once but this is one of those stories that is hard to believe. When I was 15, some friends and I went to one of the haunted houses they have set up during Halloween season called the Haunted Hotel. A girl I went to school with was with her older sister who was in for a visit so we let them cut in line in front of us. Her big sister was Debra Jo Fondren who was the 1978 Playboy Playmate of the year. When we got to the place where they let people in the girl I knew and Debra Jo ended up in our group. I ended up being in front and Debra Jo literally got behind me, wrapped her arms around me, and held on tight all the way through the Haunted Hotel. Obviously nothing happened and she was just doing this because she was scared but there are not many 15 year olds(or any age for that matter) who can say they had a playmate of the year wrapped around them for 10 to 15 minutes (however long it took to get through it).

I ran into Uncle Ted ( Ted Nugent for those in Rio Linda) checking out
at a local farm and ranch store on New Years Day.

I introduced myself and he did not hesitate to shake my hand.

I talked to him a bit and let him go about the business of checking out.

As he was leaving he turned back and wished me a Happy and Safe 2020

I've met a lot of celebrities. Most where musicians, sports figures (players, non-players figures in sports), couple of presidents, TV / radio personalities,

I've meet a few actors, but not many. One I have met is on my **** list. Bruce Willis is scum of the Earth. Not that he did anything directly to me, but I have also met many people who know him very well. Not many have anything good to say about him.

Ran into Vince Gilligan in an elevator in Vegas.

Not actual celebrity story, but back during the 90's Dallas dynasty years, I was driving back to college when my car died. I pulled over to the first house to use the phone. This older couple let me use their phone. On top of the fridge was a Wheaties box signed by Jerry Rice. In the living room the wall was covered with Jerry pictures... prom pictures you name it. It was his parents. They were super nice. I didn't tell them I was a Cowboys fan and couldn't stand Jerry.

Have heard the same thing about Willis, a first class prick.

Had to Google who that was. :muttley:
It was near the end of Breaking Bad and I don't think anyone else in the elevator knew who he was either. :) Anna Gunn was there for the same conference, but I didn't see her. She probably did a sneak job to get to her room.

Oh no wait! I did introduce sirkd #1 cosplay Omi K Gibson to Bai. Curious what happens when you mix lighting with a firecracker in a bottle and shake it up....you could possibly destroy the world with those two concubines. Loool
