Then why 5 million? Thats pretty tellingHe's been wildly regarded as one of the best safeties in the NFL from just about everyone, not just people here.

I dont think 5 million would have been too much for anyone us, including. It cant be cost, because they are probably going to pay whoever they do bring in close to that. There has to he a good reason why no one would give him more than a 1 year, 5 million dollar dealI mean he's probably not Ed Reed out there for sure, but he's much better than Woods and instead of Harris, we are looking at two guys coming off serious leg injuries.
So something tells me it's not play that's an issue here.................. it's cost.
The sheer stupidity of not signing Harris for 5 mill and looking at Kazee or Hooker in difficult to comprehend

Let’s see what Kazee or Hooker sign for. Bet it’s close to half.
I mean why would you give the Cowboys the benefit of the doubt here?
Dont know about them, but Neal will probably be more if he is deciding between two teams. But that again it could be two vet min offers.Let’s see what Kazee or Hooker sign for. Bet it’s close to half.

He had an ok season last yr. They could of kept him over Harrison Smith. 5 million tells me, there wasn't much of a market for him and many teams saw something they didn't like. Then why 5 million? Thats pretty telling
Hooker has that range to be fill that single high free safety role. If he can only stay healthy, he has pro bowl level upside.Let’s see what Kazee or Hooker sign for. Bet it’s close to half.

We also got to remember we have his former DC Edwards on our staff, he would of known everything about the player and we still passed, which is telling. The irony of concluding Harris must not be all that good since he only signed for 5 million is interesting against the back drop of trying to praise Urban for being a shrewd DT signing despite him only getting a couple million.

I think they are gun shy after paying Hamlin and then cutting him a yr later. It's up to Quinn to let them know what he needs. Not if cost was driving the decision. This franchise seemingly can’t stomach paying Ss.
Is this directed at me?The irony of concluding Harris must not be all that good since he only signed for 5 million is interesting against the back drop of trying to praise Urban for being a shrewd DT signing despite him only getting a couple million.
I watched as much Vikings football as I could stand due to Cousin Jeff being on the team, but honestly I wasn't impressed with Harris. I saw Harrison Smith show up more... he's the Safety I would want from that secondary.
All fine if Quinn is driving the recent additions.I think they are gun shy after paying Hamlin and then cutting him a yr later. It's up to Quinn to let them know what he needs.

Exactly, when we get all bent out of shape, keep in mind that every team other than the team that signs a player said he wasn't worth worth a penny more than he signed. Then why 5 million? Thats pretty telling
