“immediate “ could mean 5 seconds

That's way too much for Williams in a trade
Quinn Williams is the Chase Young of young DT's.
In a year or two he'll be compared to Aaron Donald in his prime. I'm fairly sure the Cowboys could offer the deal to the Jets would laugh.
Lololol..Donald in his prime is one of the greatest defensive players in nfl history..chill w the hyperbole
But yet his trade value was around a 2nd round pick last year if I remember correctly.Quinn Williams is the Chase Young of young DT's.

I'm not saying he isn't good but what you are saying to trade for him is way too much
Highlights are fun. I'll watch highlights. If, the reports of a 2nd round pick were true, he would be playing for someone else.
At that price he would have been on the market for 10 minutes before he was in another locker room.
Just go watch his highlights for the 2020 season. It lasts 7 minutes and 31 seconds.
Just consider that for a moment, he plays DT for crying out loud.
When you hear a ridiculous report like Quinnen Williams can be had for a 2nd round pick and no one jumps on it, it's merely click bait.

There is a link where it clearly states it was a 2nd round pick. After Jamal Adams trade the Jets wanted more for Williams and decided not to trade him.
It's very clear teams called the Jets offering a 2nd round pick. If you don't want to believe it that's on you but it's not a lie. Jets even said teams called and they declined.I didn't say the report didn't happen.
I said the report was a boldfaced lie. Just click bait to stir the pot.

Wilson was better than Diggs and Gregory last year but ok.I'd have likely made him a June 1 cut, declined the 5th year option on LVE and basically started over. This draft seems to have some LBs in the middle rounds and Quinn seemingly wants to get quicker at the position anyway. Now would have been a perfect time to start over at LB.
Frankly, if they were smart, now would be a time to go through a mini-overhaul of the D anyway. Other than Lawrence and Diggs and maybe Gregory, everyone else is pretty expendable IMO.
Try reading comprehension. Jets didn't say hey he is available for a second. Teams offered a 2nd and after what they got for Adams, the Jets turned down the 2nd round pick.Okay, I bet you believe everything you read or see.
Front office personnel never lie right?
There are a handful of players that are just special and it jumps of the screen, Quinnen Williams is one of those players. He's lightning quick with great strength and awareness.
I will never believe the Jets offered up player that they used the 3rd Overall pick on for a 2nd round pick a year later.
Watch the man play and you will see the report was a LIE.
Most reporters regardless of its the News Media or Sports Media just have to generate clicks and the truth be damned.
He was the best college DT I have ever seen and he has not disappointed in the NFL.
If, he can stay healthy and wants to be great, he's a generational player.

The entire conversation started because you wanted to give up number 10 overall and number 99. I said that's too much to give up when teams offered a 2nd round pick. You said that's a lie and after I posted a link proving it you said it was just clickbait and made up.Did I or did I not say that the Jets would not and did not offer to trade him for a 2nd round pick?
Perhaps you should go back and read and comprehend what I said in my previous threads.
If a team calls with a lowball offer that doesn't set the market.
I also don't believe any team would even bother calling with that offer unless, it was a GM that was a friend and called about something else and was playing around.
