I'd have likely made him a June 1 cut, declined the 5th year option on LVE and basically started over. This draft seems to have some LBs in the middle rounds and Quinn seemingly wants to get quicker at the position anyway. Now would have been a perfect time to start over at LB.

Frankly, if they were smart, now would be a time to go through a mini-overhaul of the D anyway. Other than Lawrence and Diggs and maybe Gregory, everyone else is pretty expendable IMO.

In a year or two he'll be compared to Aaron Donald in his prime. I'm fairly sure the Cowboys could offer the deal to the Jets would laugh.

Just go to YouTube and watch his highlights for 2020. The video lasts 7:31, think about that, a DT that made so many splash plays it took over Seven minutes to run them all.

Another thing you might want to keep in mind, Aaron Donald was 23 years old when he was a rookie and Quinnen Williams will be 23 for the 2021 season.

Watch the video and you will see a player that is better than any DT the Cowboys have had since Randy White.

There is a link where it clearly states it was a 2nd round pick. After Jamal Adams trade the Jets wanted more for Williams and decided not to trade him.

It's very clear teams called the Jets offering a 2nd round pick. If you don't want to believe it that's on you but it's not a lie. Jets even said teams called and they declined.

There are a handful of players that are just special and it jumps of the screen, Quinnen Williams is one of those players. He's lightning quick with great strength and awareness.

I will never believe the Jets offered up player that they used the 3rd Overall pick on for a 2nd round pick a year later.

Watch the man play and you will see the report was a LIE.

He was the best college DT I have ever seen and he has not disappointed in the NFL.

If, he can stay healthy and wants to be great, he's a generational player.

The entire conversation started because you wanted to give up number 10 overall and number 99. I said that's too much to give up when teams offered a 2nd round pick. You said that's a lie and after I posted a link proving it you said it was just clickbait and made up.
