FEATURED FA agent thread

JC Jackson is worth the damn 2nd round pick, he turns 26 in November, dude is going into his prime.

I've seen his name mentioned around here.

That seems like a lot of money for him considering everything.

Can't say I'd have been happy if they added him at that number.

Jets have cap space to burn, so why not.
Too rich for me too but Tryone Crawford cost $9.1 million last year.

I'd have likely made him a June 1 cut, declined the 5th year option on LVE and basically started over. This draft seems to have some LBs in the middle rounds and Quinn seemingly wants to get quicker at the position anyway. Now would have been a perfect time to start over at LB.

Frankly, if they were smart, now would be a time to go through a mini-overhaul of the D anyway. Other than Lawrence and Diggs and maybe Gregory, everyone else is pretty expendable IMO.

Jones is a classic example of someone that gets stuck in the sunk cost fallacy

Wilson was better than Diggs and Gregory last year but ok.

I kind of forgot Wilson and I don't have much of an issue with Wilson. He showed flashes. So if you want to add him to the non-expendable list, I can live with that. It's curious though that the team added Neal who could play some SS for us and are looking at veteran FSs as well. So I am not sure the team even views Wilson as one of the starting safeties at this point.

Can we seriously be done with Neal and Urban? If so, the cowboys are in trouble.

Kazee and/or Hooker sign with the Cowboys this week. Both coming in for scheduled visits and I can see 1 or both signed to one year deals.

The entire conversation started because you wanted to give up number 10 overall and number 99. I said that's too much to give up when teams offered a 2nd round pick. You said that's a lie and after I posted a link proving it you said it was just clickbait and made up.

Anyways have a good day I'm not responding anymore to this subject.

Okay, I will take the last word.

Your link proves nothing, all it proves is people like you will believe anything they read.

If, you believe teams called with a legitimate 2nd round insult of an offer for Williams, you don't understand negotiating at all.

You want to bid low but, it has to be an offer that will at least keep the dialog going.

By the way, would you take calls for CeeDee Lamb for a 2nd round pick? Of course not and he plays receiver which is a much easier position to find talent.

I disagree, as someone who watches more Patriot games than I would like, Jackson gives up a ton plays and doesn't tackle worth a damn.

His Interceptions may be enough to offset the minuses for some but, Belichick isn't tendering him for a 2nd because he's a great player.

I like the Neal signing .Its a good fit relatively inexpensive and he's young. my only concern is that of health and hopefully he spends more time with the club than in the tub
