Eh, this is now no longer a game between player and staff, but a game of agent and Stevie, given a clear bill of health, which we don't exactly know how that went, tbf.

Expectations should be set in that sense.

Correct. That's why I posted this in this thread as opposed to a thread of its own. This way fans of all the other 31 teams in the league around here can discuss signing this guy.

A 28 year old 3T that has had a season of 10.5 sacks and another year of 6.5 sacks.

Makes you wonder why a team with pass rushing issues would be willing to part with such a player.

There has to be more to the story than contract breakdowns.

I'm a little surprised that the possibility is there. I know we need depth, but if we're going to play Neal a lot at linebacker, young depth is what we need. Those extra LBs have to be guys who can shine on special teams.
