Falcon fans think Ryan is better than Romo

What makes the fans of a city who havent sniffed a championship in almost 20 years experts on talent and excellence?

I live in Atlanta and can tell you the fans are looking past this game and chalking it up as an easy win.

GOOD! Let them!

How many times have Cowboy fans done that in the past? I have.
The latest one for me was last season home for the Commanders and Colt McCoy.

Ryan has a better arm, Romo is smarter and has more command of the offense.
6 of one, half a dozen of another,,,

Ryan is better than Romo. Lmao, and gosselin is a straight up idiot.
Here is a post from that thread,
" True or false,

Jerry Jones would trade Tony Romo plus a 1st round pick for Matt Ryan. Before the most recent injury. I say true"

compared to Ryan he is. Falcons seem to go down the field more than everyone else
In 2014, Romo threw more deep passes than Ryan. 12.4% of Romo's throws traveled more than 20 yards in the air, compared to only 8.8% of Ryan's.

Ryan threw more passes of the "dink-and-dunk" variety.

Attempts by distance of pass (air yards only)
as a percentage of QB's total aimed attempts, 2014

Romo 401 aimed attempts
10 yards or less 66.8%
11-20 yards 20.8%
21-30 yards 6.2%
31+ yards 6.2%

Ryan 580 aimed attempts
10 yards or less 68.1%
11-20 yards 23.1%
21-30 yards 6.0%
31+ yards 2.8%

Ryan is a great QB.
He's not better than Romo right now.
Well, maybe RIGHT now, since Romo is hurt.
But when they're playing, Romo > Ryan.
I'd love to get Ryan, obviously. He's younger by a good bit. He'd be great for us.

Great quarterback? :lmao2:

I guess your definition of great is being average.

Back in the day we'd call that a statistical ***** slap. When we were still allowed to slap our *****es.

Ignorance. How many games more did we win than them last year? I'd say we're on par with them minus Romo and Dez. With them we are loads better.

Im not real worried about what they think. Now if the team is looking past dallas, then great. Fans' opinions arent impacting anything.

Would I trade a 30 year old Romo for a 30 year old Ryan, never in a million years.

Would I trade a 35 year old Romo for a 30 year old Ryan, it would give me pause. Not because a 30 year old Ryan is better then a 35 year old Romo, because I don't think he is.

But if it meant my QB position would be solidified for the next 8 years I might have to consider it.

How would your QB position be solidified? Ryan blows. Most overrated QB playing today. And yes, there were MANY on here who thought Ryan was better than Romo, even two years ago. And those people should be ashamed. Ryan was not, is not, and never will be half the QB that Romo is. And the Falcons fans can say what they want because we're going to jack up their star QB this weekend.

God almighty people will never learn not to make an :assumption post" without knowing the facts while Percy is alive and well.

It ALWAYS ends badly for them.

E.T. From atlantafalcons.com said:
Between our offense and the cowboys offense....the Dallas defense will be gassed out by the 3rd. I'm predicting their offense will have alot of 3 and outs..

I am predicting that both teams will have a lot of 3 and outs. This will be a battle of field position and special teams.
