Falcons May Release Vick

Just for the record, if he's sentenced to 6 years in the federal system, he'll do the full 6 years in prison. They do not parole.

They will parole you but only after you've served 85% of your sentence. So if he got 6 years, he would do about 5.

I don't think they parole you. I think they just adjust the sentance for good behavior and the like. I don't know, I'm not an expert by any means but this is how I understood it when it was explained a few days earlier.

I saw the interview. The guy stated anything and everything that could happen to Vick. So someone take this statement and makes a new story out of it?

Actually, I guess it is just a supervised period after release and not parole. I know this article is kind of old but it's the only one I could find that explains it. It is quite possible they have changed it since, but I know it was this way for a long time.

Vick is done in Atlanta - how do they say it??.........."book it."

The Falcons have suspended Vick indefinitely. The local ESPN affiliate was playing a portion of the broadcast of the Falcons and Arthur Blanks press conference.
