Round 4 seems like a good time to start considering QB. 1, and 2 needs to be O-line and DT.
Haener and Mckee seem like solid players.

With where the organization is now, draft a quarterback every single year regardless of round.

You never know.

I’ll be honest, unless the Houston QB drops to round 6, I don’t think we will draft a QB at all. I think we will be looking at other deeper positions late in the draft. UDFA is more likely. The value just isn’t going to be there, in my opinion.

None, I don't see the FO drafting anyone, maybe free agency. if they do it will be very very late in the draft.

I like the UCLA, Fresno State, and BYU guys later on.

Outside of that id just pass.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson is my favorite QB prospect. Would love a QB who can take off and run
I want DTR on this team
Former Bruin QB picking up steam here in Cowboys Zone a week and a half before the draft.
Played five seasons at UCLA - being the starter the last four.
Watched a few Bruins games over the course of his time there; improved every season.
Appears the 6th round is where most draft pundits look for him to get selected.

The Cowboys have met with guys like Jaren Hall and Clayton Tune, who are expected to go anywhere from the 3rd-6th rounds. I wouldn’t expect one earlier than that.

I think Clayton Tune has too many good intangibles to drop to the 6th. He throws a nice ball, has good size, and is a pretty solid athlete.

I’d be ecstatic if we took him in the 6th.

there are some people that really, really like him. Most expect him to last until the end of day 3 but He really could be drafted anywhere

Tune from Houston passed for over 12000 yards behind poor O Lines. Good size and very mobile. Love to see him in Dallas.

With the QB room being the same as it was last season, well last few seasons.
This is about what round will the choose a QB to groom.

I will also add this article, from the Mailbag, instead of a different thread. What if the BPA is a QB?
Nick has an interesting take, but sounds a bit crazy but also makes a bit of sense....BAN....Best Available Need.....

IMO i think they will take a flyer on the kid from Purdue in the 5th we have multiple picks there. IF by some chance he gets by them and is gone before they pick him they will do a UDFA on the TCU kid. I personally would take Clayton from Houston but i think he goes in 3rd or 4th round.
