Brian Jones was a great musician, one of the best in R&R history, and the best musician the Stones ever had no question about it.

Brian Jones was not the best guitarist the Stones ever had, actually he might be the worst guitarist the Stones ever had. Brian Jones was bored with music because he mastered it. He was able to play any instrument after just a week or so of practice.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say he was the Devil. Maybe you been listening to Satanic Majesty's Request a little to often.

Big fan of that period in their history. Brian Jones was greatest influence in that era.

James Burton...Elvis' stage(&studio) lead guitarist from '69-'77....He and Elvis just fit.
Elvis with that voice....JB with superb skills.
favorite recording Live:Suspicious Minds,A Big Hunk O' Love('72).
favorite studio recordings:Funny How Time Slips Away,I Washed My Hands In Muddy Water.

Scotty Moore-Elvis' first guitarist...a true master...with Elvis from '54-'68.

I could name so many........
But today ill go with Nuno Bettencourt, the 2 min guitar intro to this is amazing.

Love me some Nuno Bettencourt. Took me a looong minute to learn Flight of the Wounded Bumblebee. Pornagrafitti is one of my favorite albums of all time and it has little to do with the rest of the band.
