Love me some Jimmy Page.

Alex Lifeson most underrated of all time.

Brian Jones was thee best Rolling Stone guitarist - dude was the devil.

Buckethead is a nice change of pace.

Brian Jones was a great musician, one of the best in R&R history, and the best musician the Stones ever had no question about it.

Brian Jones was not the best guitarist the Stones ever had, actually he might be the worst guitarist the Stones ever had. Brian Jones was bored with music because he mastered it. He was able to play any instrument after just a week or so of practice.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say he was the Devil. Maybe you been listening to Satanic Majesty's Request a little to often.

Might have missed it, but saw no mention of Mark Knopfler. Really talented with a unique sound all his own...

Steve Wariner is also a fantastic guitarist and one of Chet Atkins' favorites...

No discussion about great players is complete with mentioning Gary Moore. If you are a fan of guitar playing or play yourself watch this video. He has some of the best vibrato I have ever heard and has total command of w/e he is playing, he makes it look so effortless.
