i dunno how the final season is gonna turn out but the only glimpse is that they surprisingly killed off one of

Since ya'll opened the door for all types of cartoons and anime

Heavy Metal - The Movie

Yeah I went there, and don't worry @DallasEast I won't post a picture of Taarna.... :p

Isn't there two Heavy Metal anime films, the first of which was entitled Heavy Metal 2000 ?
Terrific artwork and format.
Speaking of such, it reminds me some of " Fire and Ice " anime film.

Thundercats (was my favorite when I was young)
Transformers (my second favorite)
TMNT
Heathcliff (does anybody remember Heathcliff? lol)
Ducktales
Inspector Gadget
Scooby-Doo
Smurfs

Then of course I liked a lot of the classics
Jetsons (I owned Jetsons the movie on VHS and years later my daughter loved it as a child. Watched it a million times lol)
Flintstones
Looney Tunes and all their characters (Foghorn Leghorn "I say, boy, pay attention when I’m talkin’ to ya, boy") though my favorite was Marvin the Martian.

As a teenager Beavis and Butthead were all the rage. :D

As an adult I enjoy(ed) Simpsons, King of the Hill, and Family Guy.

Original ? was there a new adventures of Johnny Quest remake ?

I loved the opening intro, music theme and artwork and format of the "original" Johnny Quest toons.

They redid the show with the boys being older in their teens. By that time my interest were else where but as a kid I loved that show.

Interesting. I never knew there was a Star Trek animation series.
and i never got a chance to finish looking at Young Justice series.

With some of these anime series that haven't been created into new live action movie films.
I'd wonder which one(s) could have the best chance to become the next live action film.

FWIW, Paramount+ has all 22 Star Trek: The Animated Series episodes. And HBO Max has all three seasons of Young Justice.

YJ's season three is called Outsiders. Its episodes are infused with more witty sarcasm than the series' first two seasons but they are still solid quality. Season four Phantoms will debut mid-October.

2009's Dragonball Evolution was a joke of a live action film. That said, I would think any studio with half-a-brain would get a decent script written for DBZ. Present day CGI would be a perfect match for the series.

Great casting would be a problem for DBZ though in my opinion. Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo would be hard actor/character matches. Shoot. I cannot even dream of any actress who would be a good fit for Bulma, lol!

The more I think about it, the more I want to see it on the big screen.

Goku
vs
Frieza

Make it happen Capt'n! :D

There were two Heavy Metal movies made almost 20 years apart. The original came out in 1981. The remake was released in (wait for it) 2000. :p

I have not seen Fire and Ice yet. Looks interesting but also appears to be a single story. The original Heavy Metal film was a montage of stories, which different artwork for each segment, held loosely together by narration.

The remake tried recapturing its originality but failed badly. That is why I only refer to the original film whenever mentioning Heavy Metal.
