It seems weird that Williams already has more receiving yards and receptions than he finished with last year. Even with Dez absent, it doesn't seem like Williams has put up better numbers than he had in 2014. I guess it is the fact that he only has 3 TD catches compared to 8 last year make it feel different ... that and the fact that he doesn't have better numbers this year in a season the receiving focus isn't Dez.

We need speed. Butler may have combine speed wearing shorts, but I don't see him running away from folks on the field. Speed Speed Speed. That's what we need more then anything because it will open up the entire offense. PS. A really fast big tight end would be pretty nice as well.
Then they should go get Heyward Bey if speed is all you care about.

Let me add some clarity which I thought was pretty obvious. The speed needs to have some decent hands as well. No one wants 4.3 speed with 5.0 hands. BTW, Heyward is with Pittsburgh currently and has pretty much been a flame out.

Not sure what he can be but all I know is he has made plays every time he's been give an opportunity. I hope he isn't one of those players who doesn't practice well but plays better in games.

JG tends to like players who looks good in practice but sucks in games over players who sucks in practice but makes plays in games.

Possibly, but the 2016 draft is deep with WRs.

I'd rather Dallas draft Braxton Miller. He's just such a solid athlete that I think he'd do fine as a #2

You said he could and should be the WR2 next year.

I simply stated that it's probably hopeful that think a guy who has averaged about 210 yards receiving over the past 7 years he has been playing WR in college and the pros to all of sudden become something he's not.

I hope he shocks the world and becomes a clear cut WR2. I just wouldn't be on it.

No one else is playing like a #2 WR so there is nothing wrong with BB being given a chance to compete for that position when the season begins next year.

Really dread reading post like these all off season......miz well make Showers the starting QB and bench ROMO

Making Showers the starting QB and bench ROMO is a terrible idea. Showers should be allowed to compete for the job though and if he earns it, so be it. Romo should be traded for as much as they can get for his glass butt. It's time to move on from Romo. And BB should absolutely be allowed to compete for the #2 WR pos. I don't care what you dread to read about all off season, suck it up buttercup and put your big boy pants on.

What....Really amazing you or anyone else even thought I was serious about benching Romo for Showers. Just proves how many clueless people post on this board. Off season post are going to be so fun.

Had you in my ignore list, guess it time to put you back in the pile. Try posting something relevant or useful next time.

If you add me to your ignore list then why do you need to concern yourself with whether I post something relevant or not. I know you weren't serious but you should be. Romo is well into being on the decline and Showers if given the right attention could be groomed into the next Russell Wilson. And to get back on topic... BB should be allowed to compete for the 2WR.

All WR jobs besides Dez should be up for grabs.

Butler, TWill and Beasley all have pluses but they all need to be pressured.

I like what I have seen of butler, but JG does not move guys up like that, unless the other player is hurt.

Look and McF, he didnt get to start until randle got hurt, and he did good, that is the only way guys get replaced here,

Claiborne got demoted when he was healthy.

i think we need to see brice have another good game and i'd call WR perhaps a bit less of a pressing need. he does seem to have the talent and good hands. the few chances he's had he's capitalized on them all i do believe.

more jg favours players who practice hard over those who go through the motions

Uh? Showers...he can't beat out the BOY wonder who is all of 6foot, can't run and throws sidearm maybe 25 yards max. Not much chance this kid beats out Romo any year soon.
We have to get a legitimate backup and maybe next franchise QB who can spell Romo when he exits to the rocking chair next year.

I'll go the blasphemous route.

He should challenge for #1... Or 1a.

Clearly you cannot just tell Dez... Ok you are #1 and do what you want.

I could see dallas drafting a wr in the 2nd or 3rd after an oline man in the first or cb in the second.
