Haha, look at the tweet:

Look out, everyone. Butler compares to a couple of nobodies who never did anything.

Actually, now that I think of it, it's an awfully appropriate comparison.

One man's opinion... not mine.

Not just mine, Head Coach, Offensive coaches, Will McClay, and the Jones family must think the same way.
Come to think about it. He's been on the practice squad all year and available to all 32 teams which also
passed. Your opinion must be an extreme outlier my friend.

Stephen Jones called him out on not practicing hard enough, etc. I guess Devin Street gets it done in practice.
And is non-existent on game day. Can you think of one good play by Street? Sad considering how much more playing time he has had than Butler, where I can think of 3 big plays off the top of my head for him. Which isn't saying much anyway because they both suck.

Once we see what comes to pass, you my make such claims, not before. I believe what I say to be true and you have said nothing to convince me otherwise.

Not sure if he will be #2, but he could push for it, or at least much more playing time.
But it would be nice, Dez and Butler on the outside, put TWill in the slot.

Agree. Williams seems to be more effective running the slant, especially with Tony at QB who knows how to get him the ball. To me Butler has shown sure hands, and to date an ability to at least create separation. Would love to see him on a long post route, with someone who can get him the ball

Heck, I'd bunch Dez with one of them outside and then motion Dez to the slot. This is coming from someone with little scheming knowledge but it sounds interesting to me. :)

Hopeful the picture of Cole Beaz being compared to Fred B should only be comparing hair style.....and nothing else.

I can't understand what Street brings. Sure he made one end zone catch, but otherwise has been involved in turnovers, and non catches for the most part

TWill has the same excuse that every receiver on this team has......poor QB play. Brice Butler currently is hanging on hope.....the Raiders let him go for a reason. Not sure it's route running, hands, injuries or what.....Let's see more before we exile TWill and let's not forget to place Cole Beasley in that same line too.

Butler is a bag of rocks from the neck up.

I wouldn't know it he is or isn't but LOTS of guys in this league fit that description, including a few more on the Cowboys. They all seem to function just fine. In other words, even if true that shouldn't disqualify him IMO.

Yeah, I should probably update that. I was hopeful for him after last season...but no, I didn't expect him to be the next Biletnikoff. I got a kick out of the picture though.

The way Beasley has caught the ball this year, he could have used the Stick-Um.

I think TWill has value, and has shown it. Just a matter of using him more on best routes, same for Beasley. Point on Butler is that regardless of QB he has shown more to me that Street at this point, minus one really nice end zone TD grab
