First Game. Who looked good and Who looked bad

Overshown looked great, I didnr realize he was that fast.

Micah was dominant.

Kendrick had a great game.

OL held up.

You would have if you were a Longhorns fan this dude did that in college I don't know if he can hold up as a linebacker for 17 games but this dude's got a motor and he's got instinct that don't quit I mean he is that guy that's why it sucked we lost him last year

He's a rookie getting his first start against some decent receivers. He dropped a pick or two but I wouldn't say he looked bad. He made some plays as well.

I thought Carson looked solid for a rookie starting his first game. It’s not like he was a first rnd draft pick

Hard to judge the offense because they were playing an elite defense

Cleveland D is a very good unit and our young oline didn’t look bad at all against them. I was very impressed considering the opponent

Did you not watch the game? Looked like two completely different QB's out there from the first half to the second half. The entire offense was very poor second half of the game

You know who had the top defense in the nfl last year

It’s not like we have a decent RB to find the holes lol they played a pretty dang good game against an elite defensive unit

What was wrong with Dak's performance?

Lots of missed throws in the second half. Didn't have great chemistry with his receivers. 59% isn't good. He did enough to win and that's what matters, but he didn't have a great game.

Carson looked OK, about what you would expect. Ups and downs, but he competed and got valuable experience.

I thought Overshown and Parsons popped more than anyone. Kendricks was very impressive-was not expecting that much (high end instincts and really understands the scheme). Whole defense looked so much better than the Cleveland offense.

Dallas’ offense was much better in the first half. Elliott was much better than I expected-more spry than he was his last season here. Hope the team continues to improve.

Curious as to how mazi played…. He looked like he was around on some of those runs that were stopped. He also looks noticeably bigger to me

Seems like he stood his ground. Much quicker off the snap , too.

He played much better in the 1st half and had a few miss fires in the 2nd half but there were also a number of dropped balls in there too that could have extended drives.

Regardless we got the win on the road against a good defense to open the season so I'll take it!

Saw Terrence Steele mess up on some run plays. He cost Dallas some yardage

Dak was below average. He could have played better. His stats should have been at least 250 yards with 2 Tds. Disappointed but hoping he does better next week.
