And I am telling you that how the injuries and recoveries are different make the comparison invalid. Jaylon does not have the same knee problems.

It's like saying "I know that when you mix blue and red is different when you mix yellow and red but when I mixed yellow and red before it turned out orange. Therefor, it's possible that blue and red turn out orange too."

It wasn't a comparison it was an example of a highly rated player who suffered a serious college injury and couldn't return to form from it. I knew as soon as I brought it up you or Waldo would get it twisted. lol

Remember the pre-draft Jaylon vs. Jack arguments? Funny thing - it wasn't about whether Jaylon would play again. It was a question of whether you prefer to take the LB who will be out a year or the one who could have a shortened career. That was the argument. Not sure when it morphed in to Jaylon might never play again.

there was a risk jaylon never plays.
anytime there is a nerve injury, there is the risk.
the good is that the nerve was only stretched and not torn.
that is why many doctors said the typical prognosis is good, but no one can give a 100% guarantee.
it was a real risk that he does not play or may as well not play.
but it is pretty clear that he will now play, though we need to see how well...

Agreed. Just saying the "risk" seemed to have morphed here into "probability," and I think that fomented an air of pessimism that might have been overdone.

If you want to dissemble to a serious nonirelated injury then that works for me. That they both had peroneal palsy is a red herring.

The probability the researcher gave me (without seeing the surgery) was 25% he will never play.
it was 25-25-25-25.
25% same player
25% almost the same player
25% substantially diminished.
25% poor jaylon

The same researchers said they would not play him in 2006 even if he comes back.
Basically because his recovery would still continue even if he can play - why risk a horrible injury if he is really a generational player.

The way I look at risk it is the probability of a negative outcome. The two notions go hand in hand. That is what actuaries are looking at when they come up with hazard matrices and the like.

If you want to keep arguing go ahead i've made myself clear.

Given how many people you claim don't understand and are twisting your words you should revisit that idea.

Some don't understand but you have an agenda to twist my comments in an attempt make discussions about me.
