First impressive Jaylon video

@KJJ

Lattimore's nerve recovered from everything that I've researched. His knee was just never right structurally.

i thought lattimore's injury was much much worse?
for nerve injury, the degree of injury is huge
that was why the fact the nerve was only stretched and not torn was a big deal.

You also said that you heard of encouraging progress with Lattimore and are using that as a basis for skepticism for Smith.

I am telling you that while Lattimore's nerve reinnervated, his knee never recovered and he had chronic pain and swelling. That is not what happened with Jaylon so bringing it up is gratuitous nonsense.

I'm telling you I pointed out their injuries we're different read my post! I'm using Lattimore as an example, pointing out there's no guarantees when a player is coming off a serious injury. There's always the possibility of a setback or encountering an unexpected problem at some point. Many said after the Cowboys drafted Smith if he can return to form the Cowboys will get a hell of a player but they were using a lot of "ifs" because there's no guarantees he ever will return to form. That's something we're going to have to find out.

Lattimore's knee twisted under load from a pile after the tendons were torn. Very gruesome.

Jaylon tore his tendons and was pushed in midair. He stepped on it briefly trying to catch himself.

He started experiencing pain once he returned to practice and had to retire.

Dorsiflexion is allowing the toe(s) to go up.

Plantar flexion is the angle that you are talking about when you say his feet angle down at 45% when he is jumping.

Dorsiplantar.jpg

Dorsiflexion is at the ankle not the toes at least in this context of speaking of drop foot. The foot is dorsiflexed up and plantar flexed downward from a position of function. You can also evert and invert the foot at the ankle to a much lesser degree but that is not relevant here; just mentioning it.

And I am telling you that how the injuries and recoveries are different make the comparison invalid. Jaylon does not have the same knee problems.

It's like saying "I know that when you mix blue and red is different when you mix yellow and red but when I mixed yellow and red before it turned out orange. Therefor, it's possible that blue and red turn out orange too."

You asked where I came up with the name genious. "Waldo" and "Putty" were alreaddy off the board.

glad you cared.
if you asked nicely, i would not charge you royalties.
particularly as you took one for the team..

Overall, it was much worse. In terms of specifically the nerve, I don't know the exact degree of injury of Lattimore's nerve as compared to Jaylon's nerve.

i dont know.
i would imagine at a minimum it was stretched far worse.
more likely, it was torn, in which case prognosis is clearly worse.
