You are following an Eagles troll. He accidentally finally admitted as much early this summer but quickly deleted his comment after realizing his mistake and hoping no one noticed. Too bad a few of us caught it and took a screen shot for proof. As you can see, you and others are supporting an Eagles troll and have fallen into his web of deceit. Good luck following him and his Eagles team. Heck, he even uses Siriani's face as his avatar picture. It doesn't get any more pathetic than that for a "so called" Cowboys fan.
Fly Eagles Fly.

If Jerry doesn’t want to commit long term to Dak then why even bother doing a 2 year deal
He doesn't wanna go cold turkey at the position. Let's be honest, Dak has the regular season covered, it's the postseason he's trying to break through. Two years will give Jerry one last chance to see if he can do which also grooming his replacement.

I totally agree. My beef is why didn’t we do this in March? My beef is not resigning Dak. I’m all for that, unless Dak signed for 25-30 million. I’m kind of relieved it’s looking like a deal won’t get done because I’m all for a salary cap purge and roster rebuild. So my issue is roster management and timing on this one. If Jerry and DNA boy were not going to meet Dak’s contract demands then why couldn’t this happen in March before the draft and before preseason?

That’s my beef. Now it seems like we’re wasting 2024 on a lame duck QB and coaches when we could have been building for the future. The only thing that makes sense is if Jerry thought Dak would cave and Jerry is winning the staring contest. Outside of that I feel this could have been done in March and we could have traded for Justin Fields and let Trey, Justin and Rush battle it out this summer. I don’t want Dak here but I feel Jerry could have handled it much better for the franchise.
Of course you are 100% right. Maybe Jerry believes having Dak fight for his next contract will be the motivation for him to have a great year and finally do some damage in the playoffs

It is sink or swim for Dak

Enough with the Lance crap. He’s as useful as breasts on a fish. He at least was allowed to end his NFL career on the field, albeit a preseason game. Dak my well leave, so what? Lance will simply disappear. So what?
You people crack me up. Jerry loves him some Lance

Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought we only owe 40 million to the cap after this season. What is the 95M leftover? Not arguing with you I’m just trying to figure it out.
You're correct, after this season. But it's 55M this season. Plus the 40M going forward. So if they gave him an extension today, it's 95M plus the extension.

Nice deflection
America’s Raider likes to call you an “Eagles fan” if want the Cowboys to dump the loser Dak and try and find someone that don’t have the loser gene.

It makes perfect sense for a rival fan to want their rival team to get better, right?

The ones that do this are so clearly insecure that they think it would ruin their whole existence if they’re called an ‘Eagles fan”. They believe everyone else is as insecure as they are and feels this way too.

So, they call me an Eagles fan, so why not play into it and get their panties in more of a bunch? I like to hit em with the “fly Eagles fly” sometimes just to make em cry. As you can see it works to perfection.

If Dak truly believes in himself, he plays out the season and goes on the open market for a huge deal, right?
No other choice at this point. If he balls out . . . The season is a success and Advantage Cowboys. If He falls flat on His face. . . The Cowboys dodge a bullet ala Gregory, Advantage Cowboys

He's not going to get better u til he gets continuous experience

This is where I wished the NFL had a farm league in which they could still retain rights to the player until they can be moved up

If I was Lance's agent, I'd have him play in the CFL or other league and get his game together......and show back up in the NFL if possible

I wouldn't Sign Dak to a Long Term..Pay Me Year..

But,There's Something "Waiting In The Wings". 2025

Guys,Keep Your Eyes On OSU QB Will Howard

Howard Former K ST QB Star Now Senior For Ohio State Buckeyes.

Will Howard Receives Massive NFL Comparison

Chip Kelly, the Buckeyes' offensive coordinator, recently spoke out about Howard.
He offered a very intriguing comparison to an NFL star quarterback.

That quarterback was none other than Buffalo Bills Star Josh Allen.

"He can challenge the defense. I talked to Jimmy Knowles. When you have somebody who can be a dual threat, that's a really tough thing to defend. We know how fast Will is. It's not like if he runs, it's a 6-yard gain. If he takes off, it could be a 60-yard gain. He's had some really big runs in his career so far. That's just another tool in your toolbox. Will is probably more [of a] Josh Allen because he's a bigger guy. It adds a dimension to your offense."

Former Teammate Of Will Howard, Deuce Vaughn Would Approve

Josh Allen
Height: 6′ 5″
Weight: 237 lb

Big Boy Will Howard
Height 6′ 4″
Weight 236 lbs

Sounds great

Yet the Falcons just paid Kirk Cousins a boat load of money with a torn ACL and drafted another QB. It’s hard to find even a serviceable QB in the league, much less a decent one.
It's hard to find a lot of things, that doesn't mean you pay for it at any cost. You still have to weigh the cost against the alternatives.

Did you ever price batteries for lawn tools? A 20V 6ah battery from the United States cost about 150 bucks. Two of them 300. The Chinese knockoffs are 55 bucks for 2. Are they better than the American made? No. Maybe 15-25% worse. But which one am I buying?

Fisher is repeating what I stated yesterday regarding Russini. The only way one can logically interpret it is Jerry and the FO don’t believe in him.

Also, people forget that Mike McCarthy is on the last year. Jerry gave Dak another chance and he still sucked against good teams and beat up garbage teams.

Jerry is playing out the season. He has no need to give Dak any contract period right now.

You are 100% right. I also believe many QB's are ruined when they are thrown to the wolves on teams that are bottom feeders. I believe it causes them to develop bad habits and lose their confidence

In the case of Lance his inexperience level is off the charts which makes him the project that He is but He is blessed with Talent and I am optimistic about His future

Watching the Cowboys hide Dam's warts all these years gives me the confidence that they could eventually succeed with Lance at the helm

Dallas also just drafted OL for the long term. They saw how much the OL impacted the team even with Dak at QB. Even if they are thinking new QB, they clearly have a plan in place a that if they get a young QB, he can have confidence that he can stand upright.

I'm so sick of hearing this line of dak was 2nd in mvp voting and he deserves to be paid...the delineation between how he plays against bad teams vs good teams is stark and his ceiling is known

Let him go somewhere else and get paid, and get them 12 regular season wins just to get knocked out in the WC or d round....enough already
Don’t forget, the same defense that Dak fanboys say sucks played elite against the same bad teams Dak “lit up”…. Yet they have no problems trashing the defense.. heck, if anything the defense showed up more against good teams than Dak did..

Surprised at this report. Would think it would be reversed. Taking it with a grain of salt.
