Video starts at the relevant portion. Fish knows the Athletic reporter and that she has sources inside The Star. Essentially, it's not the APY that is the sticking issue, it's the Cowboys unwillingness to give Dak long-term security with the team.

As I had been saying to some folks, the party that cares (or can afford to care the least) almost always has the leverage. Dak wants the Cowboys more than they want him.

Could be finally that Jerry is listening to some sane advice and cut Dak loose , and seek a new QB . Should have traded for stafford when he was available for 25 mil .

A short deal implies a positive view towards Lance or a little less likely, the willingness to draft a QB. It does not speak highly of the current QB.
Enough with the Lance crap. He’s as useful as breasts on a fish. He at least was allowed to end his NFL career on the field, albeit a preseason game. Dak my well leave, so what? Lance will simply disappear. So what?

None of us like it much but I been saying all along I see a two year deal coming. Im sticking to that assumption.
ok a 2 yr deal makes no sense, and neither does a 1 yr deal, so maybe it is a 3 yr deal without the no trade clause.
Or maybe it is over the no trade clause itself?

If it was a 2 yr deal look at the cap hits, there is no room to move money out of those 2 years.
25 already has 40 mil from last contract if you add another 40 to that it would be 80 mil in 25, then 26 would be like 70.
I guess they could use void years, but then you would have large amounts owed to a player no longer on the team.

4yrs is the shortest contract that gives room to work, I dont think 3 would work, and maybe dak wants a 6 year deal with huge G $.

I think it is the no trade clause, as with that it is hard to get out of a contract early and that may be what they want, is a way out.

If Dak truly believes in himself, he plays out the season and goes on the open market for a huge deal, right?

If Dak wants market value for a QB, he would ask for a 2-year contract, and hedge a bet on himself like he is doing now. During this time Jerry can draft their next QB, who in theory would take over if needed. I cannot see Jerry going long-term again with a third contract, seeing that he got conned into this last one and the last he wants is to have the exact negative leverage he had the last 4 years. The only way out is to cut your losses, and hope to find a QB in FA to take over next season while drafting one next April.

The narrative for the first time in years has changed. Majority of the fan base finally sees what a soft , weak and scared QB Dak actually is. His feelings have been hurt. And his teams too !!

The Jones boys clearly see the Fans want a change. They’ve sold enough Choke jerseys. It’s time to sell more jerseys with a new name

Guys,Keep Your Eyes On OSU QB Will Howard

Howard Former K ST QB Star Now Senior For Ohio State Buckeyes.

Will Howard Receives Massive NFL Comparison

Chip Kelly, the Buckeyes' offensive coordinator, recently spoke out about Howard.
He offered a very intriguing comparison to an NFL star quarterback.

That quarterback was none other than Buffalo Bills Star Josh Allen.

"He can challenge the defense. I talked to Jimmy Knowles. When you have somebody who can be a dual threat, that's a really tough thing to defend. We know how fast Will is. It's not like if he runs, it's a 6-yard gain. If he takes off, it could be a 60-yard gain. He's had some really big runs in his career so far. That's just another tool in your toolbox. Will is probably more [of a] Josh Allen because he's a bigger guy. It adds a dimension to your offense."

Former Teammate Of Will Howard, Deuce Vaughn Would Approve

Wanting Dak gone is not anti cowboy. The cowboys were here long before Dak and will still exist long after he retires with no ring. Good luck in Vegas next year

You are following an Eagles troll. He accidentally finally admitted as much early this summer but quickly deleted his comment after realizing his mistake and hoping no one noticed. Too bad a few of us caught it and took a screen shot for proof. As you can see, you and others are supporting an Eagles troll and have fallen into his web of deceit. Good luck following him and his Eagles team. Heck, he even uses Siriani's face as his avatar picture. It doesn't get any more pathetic than that for a "so called" Cowboys fan.
