And he said that Floyd is a one gap player.

That seem like a 1 gapper to you?

I'm was referring to the comment where you said, I don't know where I got the Floyd being rated #2 on Brian's board.

BTW, if the guy can does max weight at low reps, he still should be able to clear 225 more then 22 times. Esp at his size.

Jerry: Sorry, Jason. Stephen and I had had a few cocktails at the Bush Library Party, and got a little carried away. Probably shouldn't have traded down with the #7 player on the board, particularly getting fleeced in the trade down. We had to step outside for 45 minutes to take a nap and sober up. So, now that we're sitting on the clock at #31, who do you like? Heck, I don't even know who's still on the board.

Jason: Ughh ...... *flipping through papers* .... the center from Wisconsin?

Jerry: Anything you want, little buddy. It's your pick.

If you say so. In the world of objective facts he has benched more than 500 lbs and squatted over 700 lbs.

Good Player and Good draft because he would not have been there at 47 and since the only pick that you have is the 31 that the one you use, why don't people understand that, quite simple..

Somebody answer me this, How the He!! does Floyd whoi is sorry as a pass rusher and does NOT fit the 4-3 D or Williams another NT help the Cowboys problem on the OL, that was and has been the problem with the boys for the last two or three years and we have two very good starting DT's...

Some people need to quit drinking the media kool aid...
That hate the Cowboys

This Is what he said last night. Seemed to want him.

@BryanBroaddus Remember this is about them and not me. Really loved Floyd but didn't happen. Plenty of outstanding players on that board this evening.

Frederick became the first offensive lineman in Badgers history to start as a true freshman in 2009 when he played center against Northern Illinois. Besides his solid all-around play, he earned that start because no one on the field, let alone the nation, has a stronger lower body than Frederick. Frederick broke Chris Pressley’s school record by posting a 770-pound squat. In addition, Fredrick’s upper body is almost as equally strong; he can bench around 500 pounds. After redshirting after his freshman year in 2010, Frederick looks to get back right where he started for the 2011 campaign."

Wheres everybody been? Buncha Johnny come latelys!...LOL I posted a thread in here about Frederick over six months ago. By now FLOATY I would have thought that you would have known he was anything but weak.

Please explain the 21 reps @ 225 then.......that is below average for an O-lineman:(

I'm not here to crap on either of these kids. I hope Frederick is the truth and goes all Ray Donaldson for this team. I just don't like the trade value or what I am thinking it says about how the draft is run. The two players are tied together for Cowboys fans forever or at least until they both end up busting.

I think his nipple to knee ratio was not quite to Jerry's standards either. :laugh2:

No, it wasn't that......It's because he wasn't an Engineer like Stephen

what you say is true about frederick

but by all accounts, floyd was the highest rated player on our board at 18

if he was there after a year's worth of evaluation, then we cant throw out that evaluation in the space of 5-10 minutes

that is exactly how teams make stupid decisions, acting impulsively and not trusting their scouts and evaluation process

this is exactly what happened here, we passed on our highest rated guy (potentially an elite guy at a position of need) because "why are other teams passing on him? what dont we know?" and made a bad trade down

This.
