Ho hum…just Jerry trying desperately to keep the Cowboys relevant after an embarrassing playoff loss. Be prepared for an underwhelming DC hire.

Don't believe anything Jerry says. He's just trying to get some support back by making BS promises he never intends to keep.
It's amazing how many idiots will fall for Jerry's Kool aid

Belichick rumor again... He's not taking a down grade to come to Dallas. So minus him-of which I wouldn't call a home room. What's left???

Would we hate someone like Marvin Lewis here? Accomplished, respected and probably willing to do it for one year.
That last part should be exactly the reason why you wouldn't want him 100 feet from the Start.
"Desperate for a job" doesn't scream good hire to me.

I would say that the new defensive coordinator , would be someone who would be promised the head coaching position .So look for a coach who could takeover for McCarthy if things go south for Dallas in 2024.
Horrible situation to be in all around.
Just imagine this happening at your work place, guaranteed meltdown.

In that case, just fire McCarthy yesterday

It’s Mike Fisher but interesting comment from another NFL owner.

FRISCO - Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones vows that his organization is "all in'' toward trying to win big in 2024. And he has at least one high-powered and high-profile colleague who believes him - at least when it comes to Dallas' search for a new defensive coordinator to replace Dan Quinn.

"Watch him,'' a fellow NFL owner tells CowboysSI.com on the condition of anonymity. "Jerry wants a home-run hire. He's swinging for the fences here.''

Only HR hire out there would be Bellychickens. That would actually make a difference.

A Home run would be BB, Saban, or Vrabel. Interesting however that Pete Carroll was mentioned.
Carroll is employed by the Seachickens. Is that a contract he can get out of to coach?
