If I was betting, I would predict Jerry making some kind of an “all in” statement/presser. So instead of Mike McCarthy talking about his new defensive coordinator (as all other NFL teams would do it) it will be Jerry talking about “his“ new defensive coordinator. #dysfunctionjunction

This is the only coach that anybody could consider a “home run” at DC. He isn’t getting a HC job this year, so he might be happy to take a 1 year gig. If McCarthy does well then Belichick goes and finds a HC job somewhere and if McCarthy fails then Belichick would have an inside track to coach here.

not sure why McCarthy would agree to this but it would make sense for Jones and Belichick

I could see Jerry offering that in a wink-wink kinda way. What I can’t see is a talented, self respecting head coach like Mike Vrabel thinking, “Yeah that sounds like the kind of organization I want to work for.”
