I agree, but it's all going to boil down to how big a check some one is willing to write. At his age he's getting one shot at a big payday.
Hopefully even then, the FO figures out a way to keep him.

I don't know why everyone says Murray has a chance at a ring by staying with us. We couldn't even get past the second round with one of the best offenses since Romo has been here. A few rookie DL and CBs is going to suddenly put us over the top?

We went 12-4 with an offensive line that is only going to improve and a couple players on defense, like Lawrence and Crawford, that should take the next step. We were, arguably, a couple plays away from going to the NFC championship.

Yeah, I would say that Murray has far more chance of a ring here than in that hole that is Jacksonville.

We could make that contract work.

We're not getting Murray for $5 million a year like the majority here are thinking, it's just not going to happen. We'll get him for about $7-$8 million, and I'm sure Jerry and Stephen know this.
