Fans will definitely revolt, unfortunately I think we're a few years away from moving the needle. We need Jerry dead and his bozo son to fail miserably for a few seasons before change is even a consideration. Imo.

We started to see it a little with less fans at camp. With a Schottenheimer hire, it could get much worse. Does it hit them in the pocket?? Hopefully!

I told y'all. Even when the crypt keeper goes into the crypt. You'll still have crypt Keeper 2. Who may be worse than Cryptkeeper1  Lucky Cowboy fans 10-30 years old-may live long enough to see Charlotte take over. Anybody 40 or over....GOOD LUCK.

So there you go. You have Stephen and Dak tag teaming Jerry into making this decision. That's the reality of what's going on here.

Consider the source here...However, Fisher is not the first media person to suggest this.

Stephen is a cancer to this org. He loses every negotiation, he has continually mismanaged the cap, he has kept the team from signing free agents when it's absolutely necessary, he has dismantled the roster every offseason, and it's all because he is cheap. That's the only reason. He makes decisions because he's cheap. He doesn't care about the team or the results or the fans or the league. He doesn't have any skills or knowledge or ideas of his own. He is just cheap.

The Dallas Cowboys are a moribund franchise right now with fan morale at an all time low. We need something--anything--to show us there is hope.

Deion offers a different way of doing things, a way that isn't the Stephen Jones status quo approach of 'do nothing'. Love him or hate him, Deion would make it interesting to follow the Cowboys again. We would have an identity that's been missing for decades. We would be the most hated team by our rivals again, who now simply pity us. It is the most obvious thing in the world for a team that used to crave--and deserve--the spotlight. And Stephen will prevent it from happening because he is too damn cheap.
One of the best and most accurate posts I've read in a while. To summarize....Stephen Jones sucks and is a cheap P.O.S.

Listen to the Bobby Belt session from yesterday on the Fan. Shan said SJ love, love, loves Schotty. Wanted him last season. He went on to say see would should have got rid of Mike. Jerry said well it’s your fault for doing nothing in FA.
Jerry said that to whom?

First, it’s from a source.
Second, I think it’s silly to say Schottenheimer OVER Deon. Maybe it should say an alternative to Deon who is acting like he doesn’t want the job. Maybe he’s an alternative to all the coaches who don’t want the job under Jerry’s conditions.

It is....but, do we actually know he'll be horrible, or is it because JJ is talking to him?
It could be because absolutely no one, seemingly, wants to talk to him but JJ and SJ. Just a possibility, though I'm sure you're, at least, partially right.

I think revenue will go down as fan interests begins to waiver. They can't coast off of legacy forever.
They've done pretty well with it so far. I mean, nearly 30 years and the value of the team has grown exponentially. I mean, the valuation by Forbes in 2024 was $10 billion, double the team's $5 million valuation in 2018.

We really may be even worse off when Jerry's gone.
Been saying that. Stephen is the cheap one. Jerry never minded spending. Now they going cheap on coaches too that don't count against the cap. He also claims to be a capologist but we're always strapped. The cap is messed up because he pays the wrong players early thinking they're outsmarting other teams while waiting too long to pay players we know we'll keep as the price keeps going up. But instead of learning from the mistakes, they double down. I wouldn't have the heart to keep disappointing the fans year after year.

I’ve been saying this for years. Jerry needs to take control over his stupid son
Let Charlotte run the team. She seems smarter...at least smart enough to let a real GM handle football while they make more money by winning SBs. Simple concept
