An accidental spray is considered spitting on someone.

I've accidentally sprayed someone and directly afterwards said, "I'm sorry for spitting on you."

If I had sprayed a person as opposed to actually spitting on them, I would like to think my first reaction would be to say, "No way did I spit on him! Now I may have sprayed him, but deliberately spit in his face? That man is crazy."

Your first reaction is usually your most honest one.

The obvious is not quite so obvious to some, no matter how obvious it may be!!!

Steve Smith is a glory hound just like T.O, He love to show boat do the end zone dances like it was competition, I don't know if he ever spit in a guys face, you don't know that because it wasn't made public( not that I'm assuming ) but we do know he got thrown out of a game which cost his team a LOSS

Wasn't aware so many people in the world can't see things any other way but their first impressions. The same argument has been made throughout this thread, the couple of us saying we don't know the story and giving the benefit of the doubt are being labeled as slow and unable to comprehend things. I just sat on a Capital Murder Trial for 1 week and a day (Dallas County) and during the Juror Selection Process, both Lawyers talked about how they would love to have a Crime committed at Texas Stadium, on national tv, while the Cowboys were playing.

No lie, they both said that obviously pandering to us assuming we were Cowboys fans.

Translation, alot of trials are tried on circumstantial evidence.

Alot of times there is no smoking gun...

The other word Deion used was "ambushed", but I am not sure if it was Owens' word or his - he said Owens felt 'ambushed'.

Halls' angry words "hauled off and spit in my face" and Owens' post-game apology and demeanor made it clear to to anyone but the most abject apologist that the spittle was not accidental. No subsequent backtracking is the least bit convincing.

But do carry on, Sniffers.

By tomorrow a sudden highly localized rain shower will have stalled over Hall on Saturday evening, or perhaps the balmy breeze blew a thin mist of TO's sweat over Hall's visage.

The second statement doesn't indicate that it was an intentional spit. It could have been an accidental spray.

He later claimed it was an accidental spray.

Therefore, you have one man's word against another man's word.
