Video: For those of you concerned about the Giants

The line is down to even now.
So the expectations clearly are for a down to the wire game.

Dallas was only favored by between 3 or 4 points even before Romo went down, so Dak is getting respect.

Even as stationary as Eli is the Cowboys have had issues pressuring and sacking him over the years even when they had Ware. Eli probably won't need to move around much against us we don't have a pass rush.
I think we do, if we didn't Wilson wouldn't have had to move around in the first place.

A big part of his game is moving around. Their backup was looking just like him against us. I don't see us having much of a pass rush this year.

We are going to punch the NYG's in the mouth and send them home 0-1. Have fun trying to stop Zeke behind the #1 Oline in the league. Gonna be a long night for them.

That's what it has to be. A strong commitment to the running game. Run Zeke until he falls over and then put Morris in and run some more. Limit Dak's throws but do not go conservative when he does throw. Let him work the entire field. No steady diet of checkdowns for fear of turnovers. Let him play.

That's about as good as we can do. There's a whole different level to the regular season. Prescott's head is about to spin. He simply can not be asked to carry even his fair share right now. Lean on the backs for the time being.

His backup didn't play until the fourth quarter. Very few of those guys playing will be a Dallas Cowboy in a few weeks.

We're starting a rookie QB who hasn't taken a meaningful snap against a divisional opponent that has played us tough for quite a while.

Yes I'm concerned and what has happened during the preseason isn't going to change that.

The guys that will be playing couldn't do crap against a Seattle offense that's struggled this preseason. We got gashed on the ground by just about every back they used and we had virtually no pass rush the entire game. Any QB that can run or pass from the pocket is going to be a problem defending.

I'm not concerned about the Giants. Their coaching staff is twice as inept as J.G., their O-line is downright deplorable and their LB corp is a definite liability in the run defense. Unless their front 4 clog the running lane play after play, it will be Zeke breaking past the 2nd layer all day long. Just cut down on the turnovers/DPIs and they won't have a chance to hang. If Dak is the starter, just prepare him to be the best bus driver and secure the ball. If the need arises, let him go Dak-Attack down the field on favorable coverage. Otherwise, Zeke, Morris and Beasley the ball down the field.

That's the one thing with regards to the Giants. Their coach is a total unknown at this point.

That is actually advantage for the Cowboys. The only tape of Dak they have is him moving the ball pretty well except for Seattle who may have the best defense in football. The collective of talent the Cowboys have is going to make Dak's job easy; and his natural ability can flourish. I think it's going to be thing of beauty to watch.

They won't set records with sacks, but they will do just enough to allow the offense to take over the game.

I hope so.
