For those that say no big deal with deflating a football

I agree. If Brady appeals, I think his suspension should be increased for not cooperating with the investigation in the first place.

Exactly what I'm thinking.

But of course, since it's Brady and Kraft and the Patriots, and even though they are embarrassing themselves by continuing to vehemently deny everything, I'm sure this will all be reduced down to a wrist slap. I'd hate that more than anything, but I can just see it happening.

Because Brady.

Who knows.

It's just laughable to me that Brady gets 4 games for, by all intents and purposes, knowingly skirted the rules and attempted to create a competitive advantage, again.

Yet, Hardy gets 10 games for a case that's dropped, and once again for all intents and purposes, was borderline lunacy (as far as a actually presenting a case).

It kinda makes me think the powers at be care more about the "image" of the game, than the game itself.

Some people loyal to the Patriots say that deflating the balls gave Brady no advantage whatsoever.

If it didn't give the Pats an advantage why did they do it? Why did he send his ball boys into the bathroom to deflate the balls after its already been checked by officials? Why did the ball boys lie to NFL officials and why did Brady refuse to turn over emails and text to investigators?

Did they need to cheat to beat the Colts? Possibly not. But they didn't know they were going to blow out the Colts and neither did they. So it was their best interest to gain an advantage even though it meant breaking the rules. Brady new the rules. He is a stickler for details. If he didn't know the rules he would be cooperating with investigators and his ballboys didn't have to lie.

I believe the Colts game is only the tip of the iceberg. This probably has been going on for many years and that Brady is withholding evidence.

The fact that we are wondering proves the OP's point.

Not even sure what the point is.

He posed a question to people who don't say it matters. Why would they change their opinion based on whether or not Dallas was involved?

And if they did change their opinion, what does that prove other than people are full of crap?

Isnt that what the entire 4 game suspension is for already?

The report wasnt issuing a suspension, it was explaining what came about in the investigation. The suspension letter discusses that its likely that he knew and specificially cites that he failed to cooperate.

If we had our balls deflated a little do we go onto the NFC Championship game last season?

1. Does DeMarco fumble?
2. Does that ball come out of Dez's grip?

I heard a guy on the ticket the other day that said Troy used to deflate balls by 2-2.5 psi. Who gives a crap. They all do it.
