Ruthless-raper, Brady, Suh, and Vick make sense. Sanchize is a given.

I'd add kapernick. He annoys me with the kissing his bicep thing

Yep, We all want the same thing and that is a championship. I don't waste my time with comparing him to Roger or Troy for the simple reason those were different teams made up of HOF caliber players both sides of the ball and those were great teams. Tony has the talent and if this group can come up with a consistent offense and defense then he will have his chance to get what Roger and Troy have. I think Dallas is fortunate to have a QB the caliber of Tony Romo.

Romo's played with HOF caliber players on both sides of the ball such as TO, Witten and Ware. A lot of QB's have the "talent" to get it done but some don't have it between the ears and can't handle big game pressure. For Romo to ever get it done he has to come up with a consistent turnover free performance in the games that matter most. He has to perform at a level that will elevate his teammates. Everyone has to step up but it all starts with the play of your QB.

They just did not play like it. I love Ware but when did he step up in post season, please tell me when this defense looked like a championship defense in post season? Tell me what game was it that the OL looked great and it was Romo failure? As for where it starts it all goes together it is not one it never has been 1 but please continue with your total non sense of breaking it down to 1 as you always do. Emmitt Smith did not wait on Aikman the Dallas defense did not wait on offense to go out and play well.

some of us were fans before Roger. I agree that Roger got us over the hump. He took over a team that made the SB the year before with Morton but he did go to a SB team that had future HOF players on both sides of the ball.

Roger took over a team that lost the SB the previous year due mostly to a dreadful game by Craig Morton. He turned the ball over 3 times that day including in the final minutes that set up the Colts for the game winning FG. Morton only completed 46.2% of his passes and his passer rating was a disgusting 34.1. The Cowboys were known as bridesmaids and next years champions before Staubach took over. They came close but could never close the deal. Neither Meredith or Morton could get it done in the most critical game. The fans boos drove Meredith to quit the game. Everything changed when Staubach became the QB.

When Landry named him the starter during the 71 season the Cowboys went on to win 9 straight games and dominated Miami in the SB. In the SB vs Miami Staubach was brilliant playing the type of game Cowboy fans had never witnessed from their QB in a game of that magnitude. Staubach completed over 63% of his passes with 2 TD's, no turnovers and a passer rating of a 115.9. He helped lift a monkey the size of King Kong off the shoulders of the franchise that day.

I watched the game but again Roger took over a team with SB talent in place already playing to the level to make it to the SB. He did not make them a SB team they were that already, yes he was a big help in getting over the top but again the talent level was in place. teams win SB and QB of course is important but it still takes the team to get there in the 1st place and to play as a team at a higher level once you get to post season.

The defense looked like a championship defense entering the playoffs in 09. The Cowboys finished that season with back to back shutouts and only allowed 14 points to Philly in the playoffs. Only giving up 14 points in 3 consecutive games is playing at a championship level in my opinion. Some of the issues with the defense in the playoffs/elimination games has to be blamed partially on having to defend Romo's 12 turnovers.

Any defense will eventually cave if they're kept on the field due to turnovers and ineffective play by their QB. Romo's turnovers have caused the defense to have to defend some short fields. When your QB isn't playing well it can affect the confidence of the entire team. Is Romo not to blame at all for the Cowboys lack of playoff success under him?

Staubach made the Cowboys champions not runners up like his predecessors. The talent level was in place years before Staubach led the Cowboys to their first championship but they didn't have a QB who could get it done in the games that mattered most.

Are you going to tell me the talent level hasn't been in place the past 7 years under Romo for the Cowboys to win more than one playoff game? He was the QB of a 13-3 team that had 13 pro bowl players on it and that team couldn't even win one playoff game.

This is coming from a FAN who predicted the Cowboys will go to the SB this season and who had Romo rated ahead of Staubach in a fan poll that was posted a couple of weeks ago.

I'm telling you no one offense or defense has played to that level. Which playoff games did the Defense look great? Outside of the win vs Philly. Did the defense look like a playoff team when Minn drilled us? Which game was it where they played great and if not for Romo we would have won?

Which playoff game that a WR have an outstanding game but we lost or which running back was playing great yet we lost? Romo shares in the blame but I don't see where any of the players stood up and produced in a big game.

Did you really pick the Cowboys to go to the Super Bowl this year?

Yes. There have been signs since OTA's, mini-camps and training camp that showed that this was a different team mentally than in the past.

It's cool if he did, just curious as to the thought process in making the pick.

There was no thought process to it, it was the FAN in him coming out even he admitted that.
