ZZZZZ WILSON is a top QB regardless. Period.
Zzzzzz. Not top 4. Period.

Negative , Wilson scrambles out of the pocket immedietly even when there is no pressure . Romo is a pocket passer first he escapes only if he has to .
It's easy to forget about games where Romo heroically lead the team to victory, while having career threatening injuries, but that doesn't fit the narrative. With the season on the line and a back injury that would leave most people laying in bed, he lead us on a masterful game winning drive against the Commanders. He did the same thing with a broken rib and punctured lung against San Fran.
Good point...although he beat a horrible Vikings and Commanders team in those come backs... They shouldn't have even had to come back in the first place. Kudos to Romo for coming back against those teams, but he failed to rise to the occasion during other games this year and in years past.

Romo threw for 0 Touchdowns his first two years in the NFL.
Why would Wilson's 1000 yards rushing in addition to throwing for 50+ TDs and 100+ QB rating in his 1st two seasons warrant a "HAHA" and a "that' embarrassing" from you?
What's embarrassing about getting your team a ton of extra 1st downs in addition to being a good passer?
Perhaps he shouldn't throw INTs when the game's on the line.
Maybe we can trade romo for Eli ?
Zzzzzz. Not top 4. Period.
I'd trade him for Eli's two rings. Eli was clutch in those 2 playoff runs.
ZZZZ top 4. Period. Deal with it. Period.
Yea I bet you'd trade away Marino for dilfer .
You are just being crazy now. The fact is the team has underperformed in big games and Romo is as responsible as anybody else. It doesn't matter how you spin it. He has a couple of years left to change the perception of him and then we can move on.
Some much-needed context for the numbers you've thrown out there...
1) Since 2010, Romo's quarterback rating in the first 12 minutes of the fourth quarter is 81. In the final 3 minutes it drops to 44...So it's not a myth that he struggles mightily during crunch time and when it matters most.
Since 2010, Romo's passer rating in the final 3 minutes of the 4th quarter is 72.9. Manning's is 73.6 and Brady's is 70.5. These ratings are normal for this situation. The average for the NFL in the final 3 minutes of the 4th quarter is 71.2.
2) Since 2006 Tony leads the NFL in interceptions when leading in the 4th quarter by 7 points or less with 11. Clutch?
Since 2006, Romo has thrown 9 interceptions when leading in the 4th quarter by 7 points or less. This leads the NFL by one interception--one more than Tom Brady. He has also thrown 20 touchdown passes. 8 more than Brady. These QB have the most attempts in this situation:
Romo 149 of 226 2320 yd 10.3 ypa 20 td 9 int 112.7
PManning 136 of 214 1660 yd 7.8 ypa 10 td 2 int 99.0
Brees 177 of 253 1861 yd 7.4 ypa 9 td 5 int 94.7
Brady 151 of 240 1749 yd 7.3 ypa 12 td 8 int 87.7
Roethlisberger 124 of 214 1511 yd 7.1 ypa 7 td 4 int 82.9
The authors of the articles from which you pulled these two stats left out this information, for whatever reason.
The lack of respect for Wilson's ability is sickening.
ZZZZ top 4. Period. Deal with it. Period.

"He has a blind spot. His instincts are just average and his accuracy is not consistent enough given the amount of times they let him wing it and that’s what he does...wing it. His mental toughness is suspect and physically he is the danger zone given his two back surgeries."
