Seriously? Shut up about church buddies.

You are all about religion bashing now?

Where do you get off doing that? You might want to chill out about all that.

Critique RW - fine but leave the mans beliefs out of it.

Grow up a bit, is all im asking. All of you.

Since when do you folks start bashing a persons beliefs?

I'm with you on that one.

my point was he was wasting time when he could've done more for himself.

religion is never a waste of time

I know, without religion, people couldn't control people the way they do using fear. Also without religion there wouldn't be enough wars. Without wars, there wouldn't be enough death. :laugh2:

I agree, people are dumb and have to make something out of nothing.

RW is gone. He had his moments here and it was obvious the team needed to move away from him. I am fine w/ that.

What I am not fine w/ is saying that since the man found religion that he is somewhat LESS of a man. That is pretty much what some of you are saying.

That was my point I was trying to make.

Thats not what I said. I only said that once he did take on religion, his play dropped off dramatically and that is a fact. I didn't say it was because of, I only noted the relation in time period.

Uh, no. Belief in God, and the worshipping of same is never a waste of time... religion on the other hand is another matter altogether.

Roy's decline in play had less to do with his beliefs and more to do with him getting paid and coming to camp out of shape. Ever since that summer he has been behind the 8-ball and never seemed to live up to the contract.

The only affect going to church had on his game was the long sleeve t-shirts he used to wear under his jersey while he was blowing coverage and whiffing on tackles.

Typical case of lost and found.

I blame Jerry's Wallet more than God.

He lost his game when he got PAID

Although there are probably a combination of things involved including his life and DCs figuring out how to exploit his limitations.

Yeah? Then when he put forth all that effort to become a great player again, why didn't he?

When did that happen?

He came to one camp having lost some weight and gained it all back before the season started because he had starved off water weight.

Other than that I have yet to read about Roy embarking on some grand master plan to become great again. I mean other than changing his uniform number.
