Is it just me or will Hard Knocks be a repeat this year. Tank Johnson, Roy Williams, an inept owner, and a primadonna WR. Seeems exactly like last year.

Temo;2765191 said:Lets be clear here: many of the things said about Roy Williams were untrue at the time. The reason he can't get a job now is because he's a 29 year old safety coming off 2 injury plagued years. You're almost better off playing a 2nd-year player, as you'd get similar production.

So that's the new excuse?
Whatever. I am too tired to argue.
The fanboys are right. He was just great. He really could cover. Honest. He was a great player and needs to be in the Ring of Honor one day. He was never overrated, undermotivated or out of shape.

Jon88;2765325 said:Anyone remember the time we were playing the Titans at home and Roy and Steve McNair were sliding out of bounds and Roy gave his head an extra shove into some cabinet-like structure on the sideline? It knocked him out of the game.

I've been beaten to death with all of them - he wasn't a liability, he didn't have a target on his chest, he did more than tackle, etc.
Whatever.
I, for one, am glad that the team FINALLY recognized that he wasn't the player that his supporters claimed he was, and most of all, I'm glad that I no longer have to see his OVERPAID, no-covering, finger-pointing, horse-collaring, receiver-chasing, crybaby act playing out in a Cowboys uniform.
But, as you say, it was just injuries.

We the fans of the NFL wish for a RE-DO for the Bengals. Please move them to L.A. and rename them the L.A. ThunderKatz.

You are all about religion bashing now?
Where do you get off doing that? You might want to chill out about all that.
Critique RW - fine but leave the mans beliefs out of it.
Grow up a bit, is all im asking. All of you.
Since when do you folks start bashing a persons beliefs?

Typical case of lost and found.

Like I said, I am a bit tired of the subject.
I think vindication for his critics has been served by the fact it took him over a month to be signed by perhaps one of the worst franchises in the NFL. I don't wish him ill will. I hope he turns it around and closes his career out well. It would be sad if he cannot.

Step four: if that's not enough attention talk about it some more and take one last shot at the people who disagreed with you. Step five: sit down and wait to see how the rest of RW career pans out.
Somebody wake me when Cowboyz88 gets to step 5.
