Excuse me if I don't care to be lectured about "ethics" by somebody who condones dogfighting...

Any defender of that practice knows nothing about "ethics"...

Here's how this theory works :
If someone did something to a "loved one" I'd handle it my self. Then I'd end up in prison for some piece of ****, that on a normal day, I wouldn't pee on if he were on fire. OR.....I'd do my duty and then have that peice of ****'s, piece of ****'s friend, take care of his and I'd end up either mamed, dead or wishing I was dead. Darwinism, at it's finest. Please, carry on. Rid the gene pool, we don't need you.

and some would say he broke moral, ethic, and LEGAL codes when he harbored dog fighting. your personal stance on it is about as worthless as a political promise. it's the legal stature of things that guide actions.

what if he were running a child porn farm?

what if he were running a sports car chop shop?

what if he were doing something wrong YOU DID CARE about.

if i follow your stance you only get involved in the world around you if you have a strict definate connection you care about and ONLY then.

if you choose to look for honor among thieves, that's your choice. i just hope you have long arms for that knife that will eventually be in your back from them cause i'm sure they don't share the same "ethic values" that you do.

i care about kids so yea i may care about that but i could care less if he ran a chop shop and he isnt doing somethin i care about so frankly i dont care that he is fighting dogs i wished i could watch the dogs he trained to fight

in boxing 2 people make a conscious decision. they also stop when someone is truly getting hurt.

here's a note from the humane society:

Dogfights end when one of the dogs is no longer willing or able to continue.

willing or able to continue. is boxing to the death or something close to that? no. so this is a very ignorant distraction that doesn't apply or fit your side of the argument.

now you say you care about kids - if we're training dogs to fight, that dog may one day try to be saved and given to a "kid". if you had a child that wanted a dog would you allow a trained fighting dog to be that pet? i mean, come on - you simply don't care, right?

as for "internet tough guys" - whatever dude. i hate internet bullies that want to act like there are no reprocussions for the insanely stupid things they say. then when called upon it - simply go find somewhere else to hide and wah around.

Somebody attacks somebody I love, I'm droppin' him in his tracks-- if I'm there at the time... then I'm callin' the law to come get his unconscious ***...

But the ONLY reason I'd do that is to stop him from punching on my loved one... that's called "defense of others", and is a moral imperative...

But if it happens while I'm not around, I'm letting the law take care of it... perhaps if they failed to arrest the guy, THEN I might go looking for personal satisfaction, but only if I fail to get some measure of satisfaction via the legal system...
