I hope he knocks the next one down also, LMAO. Good for you, Prescott.
He might if he ends up getting extended again for $80 million per season. He’ll keep upgrading his crib with every extension.

People have issue with a man attempting to build a dream home for his family? Did he have to knock down an orphanage or something to do it? What could possibly be an issue? Sometimes a total re-build is more practical than a renovation. The real waste of resources on here is the oxygen devoted to anything this man does or doesn't do. Is he not entitled to live his life the way he deems best for him and his family? Just because he, along with all but 3 other QB's in the league, hasn't won a Superbowl? I think some on here need a bit of perspective. And worry about something that matters.

Me thinks we got too many thin skinned players here. Concerned with outside distractions too much. Need to just focus on their freaking jobs.

As someone in the building industry, I'm glad to see Dak
providing a project that will pay many workers, feed many families and probably generate more work for every subcontractor involved. I just wish he had contacted me for the architectual design and construction drawings.

This is done often. Only difference is the houses are usually significantly smaller and typically outdated.

(excavators and concrete contractors, framers, roofers, electrical and plumbing contractors, landscapers, etc.)

And according to most people, he is a baby so it is a crib

""I’m excited for new beginnings. I think a lot of times, people are scared of change, and whether you’re changing something big or small, for you to create new beginnings, sometimes you’ve got to do that," he began. "

Sigh...I agree Dak, I agree...

What does he think is going to happen when you’re the QB of the Cowboys, it comes with the position and the money. Really sad to waste so much money on something like that, more money than brains
Agree.

dude burned millions.

Baby-mama wanted her own stamp on their place.
Simple as that.

Just keeping her happy

This, knowing before they met he had other women over before her, she wanted this to be what they liked together. Being the QB for the boys, she knows.

I love Dak, but this is silly.

What do you expect? You're an NFL star. You're tearing down your enormous mansion, and people know it's your mansion. You can't exactly hide that. Fame/attention (good or bad) comes with the territory of being Dak Prescott.
Wife probably all for it.

I would hardly call that “ripping”.

And he’s not wrong. It is kinda crazy.

Yeah yeah, I know it “comes with the territory” of being a rich and famous Cowboys QB, and I’m not saying it doesn’t.

But it’s still pretty crazy to be flying drones around and sending reporters out to cover some rich guy tearing his house down.

And it’s crazy that people care about some rich guy tearing his house done so much that they will consume articles, videos and stories about it, and talk about it for multiple days.
One or two pictures, and a two paragraph story are pretty much all that's necessary, IMO.

He could have sold it for 10 times what it is worth because he had lived there.
Tearing it down was a wasted of a lot of materials that could have been reused.
NOw it all goes into a landfill, which is quite a bit.
If the current home structural materials that are demolished are made of stone, brick and or concrete it can go to a recycling facility where it is made into reusable aggregate. If there is metal framework of some sort it can go to metals recycler as well. We really don't know if Dak is doing this on a whim, or if there were some issues with the home. But if he just wants even a larger home for whatever desire or purpose it may be more practical demolishing it and rebuilding a larger scale home than expanding it with additions. Maybe he wants to rebuild a mini stadium to live in since he already has half a field o_O

In addition to the demolition I was told that he will be building a new field with club box suites and a dome With a retractable roof!
