News: Fox: DeMarcus Ware says Parsons won't do podcast during season if he joins coaching staff

And thats why Demarcus won't be joining the coaching staff.
Or...Demarcus stuffs his *** head first upside down in a locker until he promises to give up his childhood dream of becoming David Letterman. He's got time later in life....Now is his time to focus on his football legacy...not do dumb pet tricks.

Well, Ware is showing his inexperience. This is not how you go about that. You have just challenged and called out the player needlessly. You take care of it in house. You protect your player.

This is just not smart.

Unless he has no intention of ever coaching here.
Parsons gets grief about his podcast because the team stinks and silly fans want to blame something or someone because they won’t accept that the team has a lack of talent at multiple positions.

I don’t see people complaining about the Kelsey brothers.

You honestly don't see the softness? I bet his body fat is over 10%....If he wasn't sitting on his *** 20hrs a week...jerking off on his podcast....the guy could be an all timer. Instead...he's satisfied being Racheal Maddow. How damn stupid can a Penn St. Grad be? I'm embarrassed to say Penn St. beat Boise St....but there it is. @ least the school was smart enough to start tearing down Jerry Sandusky stadium....took them 14 years to figure it out...but they got there.

No, I don't see any softness in Micah. If he was overweight, he probably wouldn't be as fast as he is. So what do you suggest he do with his time off, after he's done working out and anything team related?

Micah's main problem isn't softness. It's playing out of position for his size and body-type. DE is going to kill his health sooner rather than later. The man should be a LB. Those big O-lineman are just going to grind Micah's bones and joints quickly over time.

I agree, but it seems to be the position he wants to play, and the DC isn't forcing him to change. Maybe if they get good enough edge rushers and a good enough NT, he can get to the proper position, and be even more destructive.

I'd love to have Ware on the coaching staff, but I don't see what difference Micah's podcast makes, unless it keeps him from getting the proper amount of rest.
It’s about eliminating distractions. Social media is a major distraction.

Micah’s podcast has never negatively impacted his play.

He shows up and he’s usually the best player on the field that teams are selling out to stop.
Yeah, all it does is expose what a self centered idiot he is

Man now Ware being floated on the coaching staff? Soon we'll have a coaching staff that looks similar to the all-time Cowboys roster. Lol
Maybe Jerry wants all player-coaches. That way we can handle those injuries. Lose Dak, put in Troy Aikman, QB coach. Lose CeeDee, suit up, Michael Irvin, WR coach. ...

I don't mind divas when they win. Parsons is mostly talk. Show up in the big games when it counts.

And you wouldn't be tired after 3 quarters of fighting against 2 or 3 guys, most of whom outweigh you individually, then chasing down the QB?
It's not all the time, there's a lot of times he's got one on one matchups and he doesn't win his battles

Oh, so then we shouldn't expect Micah to be the only one making plays?
You're absolutely corrrect.....Micah shouldn't be expected to make all the plays? Who says that beyond someone who has skewed TEAM expectations solely on one or a few? Nor does it mean Micah should be hoisted with unreasonable expectations simply because he is going to get paid. But watch this board once Micah does get paid.

This team is built on players building their own fans/stardom. Positional coaches wouldn't be able to change this, they aren't even allowed to bench older players who can't play at a high level.

For everyone saying you can't force him not to. I am pretty sure we can still trade him and if Micah cares more about his podcast then playing on the field trade him and get what you can get. I am sick of this attitude where we just have to cater to divas and not let them go when they cause distractions. Enough is enough set the culture or let the personalities on the team run the team and we stay on the same course we have been on for 30 years.
Good post, it's obviously an issue, if a former cowboy at Micah's position sees it, then it's seeable, and he realizes that it's a distraction, there's no issue with him calling it out, hell his teammate called him out!! STop it focus on football, you have plenty of time after football to do all of that

I can see the argument that he’s offending his teammates with it. Malik Hooker already said it and I’m sure others feel the same way. Darius Slay is another one that does it and it’s really not a good look.
