Dak has an 8 year run with one of the top rosters in the NFL and he failed. You can’t blame Jerry for Dak’s suckage. The owner gave Dak a contract off a broken leg and 7 TOs in 4 and a half games, a 2017 season of futility and 2018 of horrible, not being able to throw against zone and still not being able to throw against zone, Dak setting Quincy Carter records in futility here.

So now one can say it’s finally caught up to him.

Jerry even paid this bum 250 million dollars for like 5 years, meaning he clearly wasn’t planning on sucking for one year.

Dude just sucks..

Dak basically called out Lamb for not being in training camp a few games ago as a reason for the alleged disconnect between the 2. He’s done this prior when the going got tough. But facts are, Dak was having a disconnect with everybody including Ferguson. Why? Because teams are shadowing Lamb and the guy can’t find anybody past his first read.

The blueprint was done after the bye, by the good defenses and ultimately the Packers.

The Texas West Coast is finished. What else were they going to do after they dumbed down the offense last year?

this team is now being talked about like we're used to seeing franchises like Cincy and Atlanta talked about. What a terrible job by Jerry and everyone that falls in line behind him. Just a total disgrace. Bengals, Jets, Falcons, Panthers, Cardinals, Cowboys. Thats quite a 6 pack.

He wants to do it his way which hasn’t worked for 29 years and then heard this morning on DSPN, Jed said he is the man to turn it around. When does reality actually hits home that your way does not work.

They act like Dak was ever good and wasn't on a team surrounded by talent.

Now the talent has finally caught up to this guy who has been baby-sat his whole career here, Jerry's Jason Garrett of QBs training program and he's been exposed as the mediocre talent he has always been.

Dallas is now where the Commanders and Giants were, basically the whole time Dak has been around the Cowboys. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, Dak is looking like the Sam Howell's of the NFL. And his fanboys are complaining... They fail to see the irony in it all..
I would take Sam Howell over Dak anyday

I'm going with lack of talent combined with lack of talent around him to make up for his lack of talent.

Basically, lack of talent all around.
Yep, which I suppose is the central question against Dak. With the disfunction around the whole franchise does paying him $240m make us a SB contending team in the next 4 years.....as you say, for the majority of us its a hard no. Not necessarily his fault, but paying him that money OVER 4 YEARS isnt conducive to winning it all, especially when we couldnt do it with a prime Zeke, O-Line

People just dont understand or cant evaluate talent.

He plays on the same level he did those 8 years in the NFL before this season. Now that the talent level around him decreased its just more simple to behold.

Also because of his broken ankle which was a siginificant injury he is now very prone to soft tissue probelms/injuries.
First his calf, now his hamstring. Those things typically appear because of bigger injuries in the past.
The body cant compensate for odd movement or malpositions anymore.

He also is way to bulky. He should get thinner (muscle wise). he is working too much in the gym. Should do more for his endurance/stretching etc...

But in the end he is what he is: a bad NFL QB.

You cant make wolfs out of lambs. But for his talent level he accomplished more than he should have ever imagined i guess. Not sports wise i am talking about his income.

He tricked everybody. Chapeau Mr. Prescott!

Dak's ankle is messed up ...... he hid it from everyone all off season and his agent tricked Jerry into signing a record deal.

His body is done ........ just like Romo in 2016

He's just not good and the next 5 years will be ugly. Same ending to the same book we've been reading for 9 years now, nothing will change! It actually gets worse as he gets older.. imagine? That signing on opening day was just a clueless move from a clueless front office.

I we accept the argument that Dak wilts under the pressure of big games, then the most plausible answer to why he is having a bad year is he is wilting under the pressure of being the highest paid player in the league. Doesn't on go with the other?

But that doesn't explain his weak arm and slow legs. He is 31 so age cannot be the reason he throws a football like me. His sideline throws look like helium balloons.

I don't think many players think, "I got paid so I am just going to go through the motions". It could be they try to avoid injury, but when your salary is guaranteed why would that matter to the player?
