Cowboys play 3 safeties a lot, and Dono stays hurt. It's dumb as he'll to think Mukuamu is a player of significance at this point.
Lol so you cut him after the promise he showed in preseason for deshon Elliot? Yuck

The Falcons are going to want more than that in return.
A 2nd and a 5th - and the Cowboys can keep Hill.
I don't disagree. I'm just replying to what I think the poster was getting at. The compensation would be much higher if his contract wasn't as big. Being that it is....they're not going to find too many people willing to take that on.

Kearse saying on Twitter when asked about re-signing with Cowboys” God had other plans”. Either he’s the biggest troll or he’s telling the truth.
Good. Appreciate the good season he had but some fans swear it was some great performance

The first line of his post was ok - an ideal of what the Cowboys could do.
But following it up with such a ridiculous proposal overshadowed the premise IMO.

Cowboys could have easily done this. Pretty clear they didn't want to keep him for whatever reason.

LOL. The Browns stole Cooper from us.

Everyone excused the low compensation for the trade arguing the contract was too burdensome for a team to give up anything of value.

Cooper’s contract was an easy restructure for any team taking him on.

Jerry and Stephen got taken to the cleaners in that trade.

Everyone knew his contract was easily restructured....had to be something else with Cooper and the team.

But see to me based on what he got the Von Miller deal doesn’t look as bad. I shouldn’t be shocked but at his age and lack of performance I’m just shocked but maybe they feel no wear and tear is there.

I see it as yet another team kicking the can down the road and backloading the big money.

Why do you think signing another two safeties means #38 is cut? Promise in the preseason haha ok.
Players can't show promise in preseason now? And we did keep 5 last year so I was wrong about that but it's funny how this Deshon Elliot is all of a sudden a somebody

This fanbase is weird....they complained about Lawrence, Zeke, etc. deals but want them to do the same with Gregory, Kearse, etc.

Gregory I can see, but on what planet would a Kearse deal, even an overpay, rival those other deals? His value to us is he's given us good play and stability at a position we've had a hard time filling with those things. We could roll the dice and spend another decade trying to lock that position down or go with someone who at least lets us relax a little there.

Funny thing is people were saying we couldn’t keep all 3 , people were saying daks contract was an issue when in fact his contract we structured so well, the jones are retards. They obviously had an issue with cooper,

seeing all these teams with high priced quarterbacks making these moves and we see now that the cowboys have 25 million on the cap and could easily make more room if they wanted too. The jones especially the little
Pos jones thinks the fans are some retards , always hear him talking about daks contract being an issue, next year if the cowboys need to make more room daks contract can be restructured again and save an additional 23 million, we can get who we want the fact is the jones don’t know football. All this talent out there and a lot of them are huge needs for us and we are doing nothing!!! We have a chance to have this defense take a huge step forward with these vets Available . And put all our resources toward the offense line in the draft. But nooooo

Bruh...I said Elliott, Edmonds or Harrison..who are players that have been starters in this league, but experience n starting for other teams doesn't seem to match a Dallas Cowboys 7th round pick "preseason promise" my bad.

Because it represents what we've done in the past....Gerald Sensabaugh, Ken Hamlin.....one year wonders at the position.

Kearse to me is like Dalton Schultz. Productive. Probably a good player. But I see better players out there I don't get not trying to improve on the position.
