I find it funny that some of you guys act like Joe got the ball and ran in circles until a D Lineman became available for him to run into and get tackled. Our Line was man handled on that play. No back currently or past in the NFL would have done anything other than what Randle did. The fact our OL got blown off the ball might have been the reason they decided to pass the next two plays, not the RB.

It's not that, it's how he looked when he put his shoulder down. There was no there there.

lol. Dude was drafted in 2013 and has never been anything more than a 3rd string RB.

FYI, physical freaks don't last long if they aren't football players. That crap works in college, but it doesn't translate to the NFL. His problem is stupid doesn't work on the field.

You are the one talking about talent.

Knowing that you based your opinions on extensive analysis and research and not just an armchair instant opinion, I feel much better.

Bottom line, that's not Randle's forte. He is not a short yardage punch it forward back. He is very slight in build. Where a thumper might pound out an extra yard or two beyond short yardage initial contact, Randle will do what he did on that play.

I'm not sure where some of you guys are getting your analysis of Christine Michael. This is his third year in the league.. two full years under his belt in a crowded Seattle backfield...... As I have always stated, I give rooks 3 years before I start considering them anything other than a young player adjusting to the NFL level.

Randle was known as stupid just not too long ago. Has he changed? Yea since it's his job to lose. I'm sure both Randle and DMC are on a short leash. Goes for Michael too but I think we replace RBs before we replace our all pro oline.

Okay and who should we de-activate? We've got too many injuries right now to activate Michael unless one of the backs get hurt.

The OL needs to do a better job getting push because they are getting none so far. Randle ran hard and got as much as he could, but there was simply nothing all game until they wore down in the fourth quarter and got a little bit with DMC.

De-activate Lucky Whitehead.

Exactly why are we replacing our running backs again? Certainly not because Christine Michael has proven he can do better, because he hasn't or he would already be the starter.

It is also Randle's 3rd year and he hasn't done any more than Michael. He was handed the job when Murray left and has been very average.

Two games doesn't make a season
Harris was slowly worked into the return game
Returning in the nfl is an extremely important position and like any other, you don't just throw people out there and always get success
I don't think there is any chance lucky is cut and that's the only way to put him on ps and not sure why you would need him on ps to activate another RB
We don't have 4 rb's active because only one of them does anything on st's
The nfl is pretty simple, if you want to be active you be a starter or contribute on special teams
If Michael wants to get active all he needs to do is go to the special teams coach and tell him to put him in, or pray for an injury to a RB
Lucky being active has nothing to do with CM and him not being active

Dunbar still plays specials, Randle used to (and was pretty good too). Only DMC does not play ST. Who knows if Michael has or has not volunteered for ST, he's only been on team a few weeks.

Well, just like there is familiarity with qbs and the reason we keep Weeden the same can be said with Randle. However, the RB will be the first to be replaced if needed whether injury or underperforming and it's not going to be our OL. Fact is, running the ball isn't a strength. Now with Romo out what does it make it? We'll see but don't trick me into believing that without romo it gets easier for randle.

Actually he hasn't done a bad job at all. He has actually done some pretty good work. Hell, he (like he said DeMarco didn't) got some extra meat off the bone on some of the running plays. (Garrett even acknowledged that)

Christine hasn't done anything at all. Heck, as far as I know. He hasn't even done enough to be activated on game day. :omg:

That's the problem with most football fans. They look at stats and make descsions rather than actually looking at what happen in the plays.

For the life of me, I will never understand this rationale. Randle has been a Dallas Cowboy for years. Christine Michael has been a Dallas Cowboy for a few weeks. How much are you expecting him to have already done? I look forward to your keen insight.

Regarding Randle, He did alright but he left some meat on the bone too... especially at the goal line.

Would love to have seen what Michael could have done with some of the holes DMC had later in the game when the Philly defense was gassed...

Me too. Dude is explosive and actually has calves. Big calves. That gives him a major +1 over DMC.
