Your stats are meaningless without proper context. If you watched the panthers game you would know.

Also, are you really debating whether the eagles or cowboys have a better defense? Because the benefit a good defense gives an offense goes beyond just turnovers and field position.

It changes the entire flow of the game when you have a defense making plays and getting the ball back for you quickly.

It also changes everything when you actually trust your defense to get a stop for you. Dak says all the right things, but do you honestly believe he expects his defense to get a stop for the team, like against Rodgers?

Dak and the offense have to be damn near perfect to win against good teams. That’s a lot of added pressure on them, that the eagles offense doesn’t have.

Lastly, the eagles defense hasn’t given up 30 points yet this year. The cowboys have lost two games where the offense scored 30 or more points.

The cowboys would be 5-1 right now, with the eagles defense. Maybe even 6-0.
You said "the eagles defense helps their offense by getting turnovers and giving them short fields....Dak rarely, if ever is given that advantage by his defense." That's not true. If you want to say other stuff now, about "flow" and "pressure" and all that, that's cool, but it has nothing to do with what you said before.

I never said Wentz was a bad qb I just didn't think he was incredible. He was last night though. He may very well be better than Dak. Either way, I'm glad Dak is our qb and we got him in the fourth and didn't need have to trade a bunch of picks for him.

He's having a great season though. Good for Philly fans......

Nicely said. Wentz has had games like that all year by the way. Leading the NFL in TD passes I believe.

The bigger surprise here isn't Wentz and his play.

It's that somehow, Nelson Agholor went from from a first round bust to a pretty good WR.

Cowboys (-6) at 49ers
: The Niners are 0-6, but they've lost their last five games by a combined 13 points, and none by more than three points. They've been in almost every game.

Meanwhile, this Zeke Elliott situation is a mess for the Cowboys. He's on pace for 390 touches this year, and he's been ineffective. He's running at a 3.7 yards-per-carry clip, with 122 touches and only 28 first downs. He has clearly put on weight and doesn't look like the same player, even if his offensive line has also predictably regressed to some degree.

If the Cowboys want to run him into the ground while he isn't even playing well, all while simultaneously causing a major distraction, the rest of the NFC East should take joy in watching his suspension get delayed repeatedly.

Had Elliott just been suspended for the Cowboys' first six games, it would already almost be over and they'd probably have the same record. Instead, it is becoming a year-long distraction, and Elliott is likely still going to serve those six games at some point.

I'll still take the Cowboys here, I guess, but I love the value of getting six points, and wouldn't be surprised if the Niners won this game outright.

Did they watch the game vs the 49'ers.
Zeke with great speed.
Cowboys rested him more than 1/3 of the game.

Kempski wrote this prior to the 49er game. I think he’s right about RBs in general, but I disagree with him that they are over-using Zeke. If you spend a lot on a horse...ride that horse.

He had 26 carries in that game. At that rate, over the course of a 16 game schedule, that would be over 400 carries. That's a lot.

Do you think he has no job because of his political dissent or his faded talent and skills?
That's a tough question. I would say both. Political 75% Talent & Skills 25%
I really think alot of the coaches/owners do not want this type of distraction on their team. It would be one thing if the kneeling situation went away within a week or so. Being it hasn't and won't anytime soon, it literally spread into a Colin Cancer.

I have heard that argument from my conservative friends who think everyone needs to stand and wrap a flag around themselves when they play the anthem. Have we ever asked ourselves why they play the anthem at sporting events? They do not play the anthem at Broadway Plays, at Rock Concerts, at movie theaters, why then do we play the anthem at sporting events?

No not like that. He's been very good all year but that last game? He made some incredible throws. It's almost like you were watching his real of hi he's plays. Highlight after highlight.

You're killing me with these questions pokie lol. Ok, here it goes.... the first thing to remember is that it's a battle song. The most memorable lines involve rockets and bombs, and the lesser known verses conjure "the havoc of war" and "the gloom of the grave."

The second thing to remember? It's a taunt, a lyrical grenade chucked at a defeated opponent. "See that flag still flying, the one you tried to capture?" it famously asks the British. Then it answers: "Scoreboard."

That's why, in a country that loudly lauds actions on the battlefield and the playing field, "The Star-Spangled Banner" and American athletics have a nearly indissoluble marriage. Hatched during one war, institutionalized during another, this song has become so entrenched in our sports identity that it's almost impossible to think of one without the other.

Our nation honors war. Our nation loves sports. Our nation glorifies winning. Our national anthem strikes all three chords at the same time.

So now the Egals media is complaining about our 'Boys. Talk about calling the kettle black. I recall Staley & Westbrook carrying that team for many years. Their just jealous cuz they don't have anyone to run into the ground. Oh, and because Zeke will be RUNNING THEM INTO THE GROUND....yet once AGAIN.

Like I said Wentz is leading the NFL in TD passes. Hes been doing it all year long. Had another 4 TD game also. Using his legs to escape, bombing away, hanging tough in the pocket. Been doing it all year. Now that may have been his best game, but he has been up to that standard all year.

It is OK to acknowledge that Wentz is a capable QB who is having a good year and his last game was his best. He was balling the whole game and single handedly kept a number of plays and drives alive. The real question is if you had the opportunity today, would you trade ours for theirs? I would not. I think ours has more upside and with better coaching will be a longer and better alternative.
