The Superbowl isn't the standard for Dak because it's not the standard for the front office. We've been mediocre for 2 decades prior to Dak so the problem existed before then. We've seen that no matter how many pieces they switch around, they can't overcome the FO. The FO is the most important position in football.

The TRUE Cowboy fans have only 1 standard — winning the SB. The other fans are trying to justify why we suck when it really matters. While JJ says his goal is to win the SB, his real goal is to get all the credit by calling the shots (and even doubling down when critics attach him about his decisions). I think JJ would rather have the Cowboys be good and he get all the credit rather than win the SB and he get no credit. Because of the atmosphere created by JJ, the Cowboy players think it’s all about them individually (and the team comes second), and unfortunately, most of the Cowboy fans only add to this situation.

Most people either like the Cowboys or laugh at how delusional the fan base is.
We could go 10-0 to start a season and everyone still feels confident that the rug is going to get pulled out from under us.
I mean Strathan said our 2007 Cowboys were the best team they played all year including the undefeated Patriots and we were 1 and done.

Yep it has been. And what can they do to get beyond that. Many differing opinions on that. But it still all comes back to one player, if that is right or wrong, that is what it is.

I think better wording is, The Super Bowl is the Goal, which for all 32 teams, it should be. The standard is a base line and winning should be a standard.

Well said, the Standard is to field the best team possible every year trying to hit the goal of winning the championship.

Nothing wrong with it. We need those type of questions. I wish the media would ask the FO those questions. But they are afraid.
I was responding that some reporters will go off on a caller if they don't like the question.
And some callers don't like the media person that don't get the answer they want.

He has not been seen at the PC's since. I think even CBS reduced his role, and eventually was gone from CBS.
His press credentials were revoked. Now was that from Jerry, or from CBS via Jerry, it doesn't matter. It still happened.

Another thing the team used to do, not sure if they still do. I think it was in May, they had a call in special for season ticket holders. To ask questions to Jerry, Stephen, and the HC.
I know they were doing it up to 2016, as I would dial in and listen. You dialed in and entered a code. either stayed on line or they called you when it started once you entered your number and code.

I would take notes and create a thread about it. I believe the replayed it on the team website as well.

But they screened questions before hand. I tried to get in a question but they did not put it through. It was something about Garrett and why is he still the HC. But I did not put it that way, I can't remember how I worded it, maybe something about on the hot seat. That was before the 2014 season. They nixed my question.
