lol... I said it was unrealistic-- but don't forget what Parcells said. By Thanksgiving-- "you are what you are". It's not Thanksgiving yet. Their fate is not sealed. We're 3 games back from NYG with 7 to play. Improbable? Yes. Impossible? No.

This team has guys who have a lot of pride. We need a W in the worst way-- and I think you see some swagger and confidence return if we win the next 2 games. With 10 days off after Thanksgiving-- it's not out of the question they rally and make a run at a VERY weak NFCE.

no its not out of the question, and its how Im going to roll for the rest of the season. just my way of letting go of a promising season.

But I think Miami rips us next week, our D has no answer for their offense....and, they are at home... then, I think Cam and the Panthers will want to show the world on T-Day, how good they are.

These are two very tough ball games.......we could very well be looking at a nine game losing streak....................

just not our season; but hey....it coudl happen. !! and thats what Im rolling with. Thats my new slogan......

"Hey, it could happen!"

There are not enough games left for Dallas to leap-frog three teams. If we were only behind the Giants with the same records we have now......I would be a little more confident considering their remaining schedule.

7-9 does not win this division
8-8 does not win this division and if it were good enough, tiebreakers won't give us an advantage

Dallas has to run the table and that is not happening. There are too many holes in this ship and Romo can only plug so many.

Technically, the Cowboys only have to leap frog two teams, since beating the Commanders twice would achieve the third by default.

Our D will benefit from an offense that is able to put up more than 6 points lol... I think Romo wills us to a W next week on the road, and then Carolina eats the cheese and looks past us on a short week and we surprise them and show the NFL we're not dead yet.

Gonna be a fun couple of weeks...:)

The only thing Romo coming back and winning a ton of games is going to do is ruin our draft position. We see what the team looks like without Romo, so do you really want to miss out on drafting a QB?

They need to keep Cassell as BU.

But they need to start the process of finding a QB to replace Romo , right now. They need to invest money in a FA, or draft one with potential and start developing a new era in Cowboys football.. they need to do that right now.

Like I said in the offseason, when I was arguing about letting Romo drop back more and using RBBC......

Romos days are numbered.......... Were lucky if we get one,two more years.

We need to go get our Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota or Bortles.....etc etc...we need to do that, now!

Yep. We want the Skins to win every game they play EXCEPT they lose twice to us and we win out. That would pretty much lock up the division for us lol...

Romo is poised to lead the greatest single season turn around in NFL History. Couldn't happen to a better guy. I believe.

this year is done. the best we will finish with romo is 4-3 or 3-4. romo will help win atleast two games by himself but the rest of the team will keep the cowboys from winning anymore then two more games.

hypothetically, lets say we lose this week. Will that be enough, or will we have another "we still got a shot" thread?

You are correct, I was going by a tweet I read earlier which was obviously false.

Still, Green Bay or Atlanta doesn't seem like a shoe in for a wildcard at this point.

While they might not seem like a shoe in the only way the Cowboys are making the playoffs is to win the East. 4 games back with 7 to play is a tall order. Not saying you believe they will make it as a wildcard but just expressing my opinion :)

2 wins was all we needed from Garrett. Just 2 out of 7 and he couldn't do it. Pathetic.

Drives me mad.

This is his MO though... Loses end of season win and you are in games....

Call this season 7 win and you are in chances. FAILED 7 times ......in ONE season
