Funny thing is the Cowboys can still make playoffs

There's still a chance. We got lucky (AGAIN) this week because everyone but the Commanders lost. We'll know a lot after Thanksgiving.

That's what happens when the teams in the division keep losing each week.

yep but those same teams still have to play each other, so winning the division with 7 wins is impossible! Ok, not impossible but a 0.00008% chance

Unfortunately I think we are done. I see NY and Philly sitting at 8-7 going into the last weekend with a winner take all game.

I don't think we can win it with 7, either. We have to get to 8. And I don't think we can get to 8. But, that said, if the other three do somehow keep losing, that bar can continue to drop. Even with them playing each other. You just need the Skins to beat the other NFCE teams and lose to us and everybody else. :)

Pretty soon, it will only take 6 wins to win the division. The bar has been consistently lowered as the weeks go by...............

If they add more teams to the playoffs a 6 win team might make the postseason. Personally I wouldn't want to see more teams in the playoffs especially not sub 500 teams. You should be rewarded for a god season not a losing season. No one wants to see a 6 or 7 win team play in the SB and adding more teams to the playoffs increases the odds of that happening.

The Cowboys are proving that although anything is possible they will always find a way to lose in the end. Until that stops happening I think that playoff talk is just
Giants 5-5
Commanders 4-5
Eagles 4-5
Cowboys 2-7

Amazing how close the Cowboys are at one end to the #1 pick, and only a couple games out of 1st place at the other. Couple that with the fact that they can eliminate the Commanders themselves, and Bradford being out several weeks makes the Eagles a losing skid realistic. I could see the Giants losing three out of their next four.

I know we are going to sacrifice draft position by putting Romo out there, but the season does still have a heartbeat, so my thinking is no matter how remote the possibility, the fans are owed the chance to try.

What's funnier - that the Cowboys are still in it or that while anything is possible they are always finding a way to lose in the end?

That's just it though... As crazy as it is to type and read this... Not getting any wins in those games will come back to bite us in the arse.

Read it. It's ridiculous lol

Falcons – Choked in the 4th and gave up a sizable lead

Saints – Choked in the 4th and let them walk down the field in OT

Patriots – Choked before the game even began

Giants – Choked and gave up TD’s on pick 6’s and ST

Seahawks – Choked every time we got the ball within 35 yards of the end zone

Eagles – Choked in the 4th and let them walk down the field in OT (déjà vu 1.0)

Bucs – Choked every time we got the ball within 35 yards of the end zone (déjà vu 2.0)

When the going gets tough, we lose. It’s either from ill-advised throws leading to pick sixes, inopportune penalites, dropped passes, etc.

Pick your poison and wish for a seven game-winning streak, but Romo can’t fix everything.

Steven A. does call the 'Boys an accident waiting to happen. We've seen this to many times. Always something different that seal the deal for a loss.....got give 'em credit for being creative. Outside NE game, we been tantalized only to expect the inevitable.

I don't see it.....we asking a lot for the stars to align.

So what? Did you just miss my entire post to point that out? You think playing at Lambeau is going to be a cake walk just because Detroit beat them?

Green Bay isn't a powerhouse dude. With Romo back under center I expect a win. I only see Carolina as the only tough game left to play, not including 2 more division games. Buffalo will be tougher then GB

They can't even win a game:facepalm:
Y'all crack me up.

Romo doesn't play defense dude, that GB is not going to be easy no matter what you want to tell yourself. You can expect a win all you want to, it's not going to make a difference.

Do you even watch the games. Defense isn't the problem, they have done their job. GB defense on the other hand is giving up almost 500 yards a game. Teams scoring at will against them.

Romo will shred GB defense and score more points then a bad GB offense.

Keep thinking whatever you want though

I will, thanks. Now go away.

hypothetically, lets say we lose this week. Will that be enough, or will we have another "we still got a shot" thread?

Until we are mathematically eliminated you'll see these threads. There are 7 games left, and it is entirely possible for them to be tied for 1st after their next 3. Yes there will be time to make changes and cuts after the season is over, but you guys giving up right now are as embarrassing to the fan base as the Cowboys have been to the game of football these past seven weeks.

We can get to 8 and i don't even think it's that hard. We just need to start with a win next week and the team will start to build confidence from there.

I haven't seen anyone on here say they are giving up. I would bet every poster on here will be watching every game they can. Contrary to what some may think, it doesn't make anyone a better fan because they are holding out hope for a miracle. Knock yourself out and dream big. But spare me of the "you guys are embarrassing because you aren't waving the pom poms like I am" stuff.
