I gave you an entire list. Log off, forever!
I gave you an entire list. Log off, forever!
I'm confused. Are you saying I'm doing that?
That's what I thought. All mouth and no balls.
I understand where you are coming from, but if that is what you are looking for just google "Dak Prescott" and set aside a few days for some light and delightful reading. But before you do, I challenge you to find a scouting report as in-depth and lengthy as the OP that is free anywhere online. Once you realize there isn't one, please come back and apologize for hijacking and trolling what was supposed to be an informative and engaging conversation.I get this. But I'd like to know what he did right. Is that alright with you? You went on and on and on with how wonderful Zeke was, was it too much to mention anything our STARTING ROOKIE QB DID?
Okay, I'll do it then.
Dak played admirably Sunday afternoon. After a shaky start in the 1st half, he suddenly started to figure some things out. Started with a nice hand off to Lucky around the left side that picked up 25 yards. Followed by a sweet pass to Lucky, just good enough to give Lucky a chance to actually catch the ball and not fumble around with it. He then hit Witten on a sweet out route under heavy pressure to give us the first down. Then another sweet pass to Williams to get us in scoring position. Followed by one of the most beautifully placed balls in the end zone away from the defender you will ever see.
How hard was that?
I thought so at first but towards the end I couldn't tell...LOL, sorry, I was referring to Clove.
@FuzzyLumpkins
You said you weren't impressed with Zeke's receiving, is this because of a lack of plays, or what you saw when he received said passes? He did have one completion for 15 yds, and seemed to glide through the field. His other reception was for 2 yds, admittedly lackluster.
Do you see him as a Faulk/Tomlinson threat? He has great open field vision that should translate to his receiving game, given his soft hands.
Thoughts?
I'll be here all night just to get on your nerves. He did NOT talk about the positives. You like making **** up don't you? That's what I thought. All mouth and no balls.
But if you REALLY need just one thing and you'll honor your word, here it is (again):
If he's going to do a statistical analyst of a QB, then do the ENTIRE THING. If you only talk about his negatives, you're being an ***hole on purpose.
He did. You lose. Now, you gonna keep your word and get lost?
I know that the question wasn't directed at me, Trouty, but I saw the same thing that Fuzzy saw. Zeke is a natural freak athlete but his route running lacks the finesse and technique (thus far) to create separation at this level of football. His dominance in college and the superiority of his team, in general, never really made a focus on these details a priority in college. In order to succeed, at this level, the subtleties of route running are paramount to creating separation. His skills in that regard, to this point, simply aren't good enough when spreading him out as a WR. Out of the backfield he has a natural separation due to the distance from any defender in the offensive alignment. He's been pretty good there. Lined up wide or in the slot? Not so much. He's a smart player and he wants to be the best so he'll work on it. I'll almost guarantee you that by this time next year he'll be twice as good at it and, honestly he'll be better at it next week than he was last week. The kid is just special.@FuzzyLumpkins

I think Fuz said route-running was not good.
Is Faulk.LT faster?

Honestly, I suspect this will simply take time/repetition to perfect timing/cuts/route adjustments that he is supposed to know based on coverage. And all of these things have to process in seconds. But by season end and potentially to the Cowboys advantage they can show teams something they haven't seen on tape.I think Fuz said route-running was not good.

I'm sorry, am I not supposed to respond when everyone's coming after me. You say something to me, I'll respond. Not at their apex as multi threats. Out of the combine Faulk ran a 4.35 and LT a 4.3 and 4.4 (Zeke a 4.47)
So at their peak, they're at where Zeke is now. But Zeke is quick, LT quick. Not Faulk quick.
I don't give a squat about doing play-by-play I do it for the guys who asked for it. If you don't like me going on and on then tell people to stop quoting me.@Clove
Give it a rest dude, you made your point and have ****ed up Fuzzy's thread. Stop.
No one ****s up your play by play in the GDT's! so stop it with Fuzzy. Agree to disagree and leave, bubba.

That's one quote. Now tell me how many negative things he said?"His deep passes to the outside were accurate"
"His decision making continues to be a plus"
Direct quotes from the OP.
You're so full of **** that I can smell you from here.
Now, jump on that coffee, fraud.
