Phillips moving his way up to #1 edge off the board...if he wasn’t already
Phillips has the tape as well. Didn’t expect those athletic #’s.
The game tape tells the full story IMO. Rousseau just looks too finesse, not a tactician like Phillips. Phillips jumps off the screen for me. Much more consistent. Roche is more like Dlaw but has a bit more power. I'm really not a big fan of any of these U guys. I just think there are better options at DE. None of them will start.Rousseau and Phillips have looked really impressive. Phillips in particular could be the 1st DE off the board.
Some team might reach for him but man I wouldnt touch him due to his injury concerns and some things hes said like football isnt his passion, music is. SO if I am thinking about spending a premium pick on that kid, I want to get him in a room and ask ALOT of questions about that stuff. Maybe its immaturity talkin..but still..I would pass.Phillips is a gifted pass rusher. Maybe the most gifted in the class. But he does have some red flags attached to him. But I’d be surprised if he’s not a1st rounder.
Victor Butler the LB we had, not Quincy Butler. They talked to Quincy Roche at the Senior Bowl...Jerry has a thing for the name Quincy. Didn't we have Quincy Carter,Quincy Morgan, and Quincy Butler all at the same time?
I think Phillips definitely could start for a # of team’s. From a talent and physical standpoint there is a lot to work with there. The game tape tells the full story IMO. There was a CB Quincy Butler floating on practice squadVictor Butler the LB we had, not Quincy Butler.
