If not for the injury concerns and weird background he'd be a sure fire first rounder for me and I'd put him right up there with Ojulari.

This was before all the pro day stuff bc I put very little stock into those.

Could be a target at 10 if the medicals check out. Makes sense, since Gregory is a FA after this year and Lawrence is on a quarterback contract (also a potential out after this season). Not restructuring Lawrence this year may have been a clue.

The game tape tells the full story IMO. Rousseau just looks too finesse, not a tactician like Phillips. Phillips jumps off the screen for me. Much more consistent. Roche is more like Dlaw but has a bit more power. I'm really not a big fan of any of these U guys. I just think there are better options at DE. None of them will start.

Phillips is a gifted pass rusher. Maybe the most gifted in the class. But he does have some red flags attached to him. But I’d be surprised if he’s not a1st rounder.

I would just pass on all the Miami kids. Brevin Jordan is the only guy that I would consider at round 3. The others have too many questions.

Some team might reach for him but man I wouldnt touch him due to his injury concerns and some things hes said like football isnt his passion, music is. SO if I am thinking about spending a premium pick on that kid, I want to get him in a room and ask ALOT of questions about that stuff. Maybe its immaturity talkin..but still..I would pass.

I think Phillips definitely could start for a # of team’s. From a talent and physical standpoint there is a lot to work with there.
