Seriously. Do we need to find you a Fins board? I'd hate for you to feel left out of their upward rise.

I'm starting to think Ole Jurha sold his soul for Garrett,
Garrett = one man.

Ireland, Gaine, and possibly Sparano and Bowles is not equitable payback.

Can you imagine if he left?? Holy cow the wailing and gnashing of teeth...

Who can blame him? Go to Miami and work for 2 great football guys in Parcells and Ireland, or stay in Dallas and work for an egomaniac owner masquerading as a GM. Pretty easy choice.

If a real football guy doesn't show up at VR soon, we'll be back to perennial 5-11 seasons.

Well according to Jerry, Garrett = Genius, Ireland was expendable and Jerry makes all the final decisions any way........................... Just kidding. Sorta.

and didn't one of those great football minds you mention come to work for that egomaniac for 4 years to BUILD what we're all so afraid to lose now?

some people just lay on the hate - screw common sense.

If that ever happened all we could hope for is an early Jerry demise.

I'm going to guess that he got a promotion as well.

Ireland, assuming Sparano leaves, and Bowles will all have promotions.

It's nothing to not wanting to work for JJ.

I can only imagine how SD Chargers felt last year . . . .

Didn't Parcells hire Gaine from the Jets? If so he's simply following Parcells again.

I don't recall Jerry going so far as calling Garrett a genius, but yeah he was definitely excited about bringing him on board.

As for his comments re: Ireland, that was more spin than anything else. Of course he knows the value of Ireland, but he also has to reassure his fan base that the team wasn't going to be too disrupted by his departure.

The Gaine defection probably hurts more than anything else, because it hurts the continuity he thought they had.

Jerry needs to stop the bleeding. somehow. Make a competent hire to replace somebody. Go get a Patroits scout or something.

BTW, I hope all these guys leaving us enjoy watching us in the Superbowl while they try and figure out If Cleo Lemmon is the future.

I guess those fools have Stockholm Syndrome and want to follow that Jim Jones wannabe cult leader Parcells to the end. Hey Kool Aid!

This bothers me more than losing Ireland, because now I believe there is no end in site.......BP is going to raid this organization for all its worth. Dallas is in trouble...........big trouble........

You cannot raid what willingly runs into your arms.

These guys all have egos and i'm sure they are excited about building that thing from the ground up. I can understand that i guess.

Exactly. If Jerry was able to hire an excellent talent evaluator like Bill Parcells, there's no reason that he's incapable of hiring another like individual.

I have a feeling stupidity is about to take over the forum.

Bite your tongue.

We are 13-3 after all.

I hope these guys feel good when they get no credit after the talent they collected wins the superbowl

Well, Jerry is definitely in a tough spot. Good hires are tough to come by and the GM takes the heat.

They all know the hand they had in it. They might be looking at the chance to do it again. I would do it, some times once you get so high, the high is getting there again.
