Oh yeah, remember wade said after first 2 games, i should have played more on run blitz and pass defense, we lost the 2nd game against giants because we had to spend more time on run blitz then pass because wade admitted he blew it in training camp the ninny.

I'm not saying Wade or any coach is perfect and do make mistakes they all do. What I am saying is coaches see these guys day in and day out and know them much and know more about the development of a player than some guy on a message board they base it on practice and meetings and when players start showing it there they start seeing the field more when the coaches do not feel a guy is there they will go with players they trust be it Wade Phillips, Bill Parcells or Tom Landry.

I had him projected as an all-pro when he was still in junior high school.

But why the hype on Jazz all of the sudden? Is Brooking getting old and slow????

I think they are talking more in nickle package at this stage

Enough with the ninny stuff Joe. You're an adult, at least I think you are.

Well not only that, but didn't Richie Whitt grade him as an F?

Wade must be talking out of his arse.
That is such a fantastic point. It's practically a double point.

See, impossible.

Jeez, Joe, Wade said in the very post that Jenkins wasn't ready to play right away either, that he had things to work on. Like he said, it isn't as simple as throwing these guys out there right out of college.

Why do people think these kids, especially ones from lower level college competition, are ready to step right off their little college campus and dominate the pro game right away? Is it all the draft hype that makes every fourth rounder sound like an All-Pro? It's not that simple except in very rare cases.

Hopefully Wade's easy approach works as well as it did on Spencer.

Not sure how easy his approach has been with either player. Spencer and Williams both had splinter butt whereas a lot of 1st rounders would get handed 100% of the playing time.

As fans we take what gets said publicly as what really matters... whilst in a locker room it is clear that the important thing is playing time, starting jobs and future earnings potential or actual contracts handed out. Once a guy has the big contract and the guaranteed starting job all of a sudden he gets offended a whole lot more by what the coach says. I'd much rather get dog-cussed publicly but handed a starting job and a fat check then to be talked about as the next coming but benched.

Impossible, he has already been declared a bust on this forum.

For the record, I declared him a reach. It generally takes up to three years to know if someone's a bust or not.

Jason Williams could be LT like at ILB. A guy that just makes alot of plays using incredible speed.

I guess technically he could be.

But I wouldn't hold my breath.

I agree. I could only dream he gets any where close to the player LT was.

I'm not saying he's going to turn out like LT.
