I was at one point a couple of months ago, and got off after re-looking at the games on tape.....it was loking to be more on the players.

However, since blitzes are taught via a blitz scheme, we have absolutely none. Our d-line has MAYBE one move. Coaches need to teach these players more than that. Showing blitz WELL before the play doesn't constitute a blitz to me.

The defense really isn't even being put into a position to make plays. We are so predictable and the Saints REALLY exposed it thanks to Payton.

Zimmer is not doing enough as the DC....that is plainly evident. There is no way that we should be giving up as many points, allowing average QB's to look like they are the greatest QB of all time everytime we play them etc.

I have to agree, our 3-4 has too many vulnarable spots due to lack of talent in some areas. We are not ready to fully implement a dominating 3-4.

Zimmer has cost us more this year than any one player. He doesn't know how to use the talent he has.

We cannot adjust to anything the other team is doing to us.

The only bright spot tonight was, well, I'm sure there had to be one but I'm not sure what it was at this point.

I know this. Unless the defense finds some magic potion or Zimmer finds his brains, we will be one and done in the playoffs.

best post today. I feel like we have made average QB look like total studs for years, AND the zimmer blitz has not changed from the famous sell out blitz of 03 which worked for all of 3 weeks in 2003.

It is just unbelievable that a defense can be as bad as we have been for the past month and hardly ANY adjustments being made.
