This isn't a big deal.

Players and coaches come to each others aid and that's a bad thing?

This isn't like last year at all.

dcfanatic is a friend of mine. I know him behind the scenes a little. As someone who knows what it is like to have people dislike you because of your opinions I just want to stick up for my friend here.

He is a genuine great guy who loves the Cowboys.

Like many he is frustrated. Like most of us he is opinionated and doesn't back down from his opinions. I am the last guy int he world who can fault him for that.

He and I don't see eye to eye and that is okay. I was a regular on his show last year and this year only a couple of times. He has gone on to bigger and better guests and I support that 100%. I hate to miss his show, even if I disagree with some of his takes, and he knows I do.

I wish some of you would put him on Ignore rather than make it personal. I guarantee you, if you knew the guy like I do, he'd be a friend. Look how far divergent his opinions and mine are on the Cowboys, yet there's no hatred between us that I know of.

Just my 2 cents. I'll shut up now.

At least until I can find another angle to have some fun.

hos, i wish he'd not make every disagreement with him personal.

i wish i could disagree without being blinded by the emotes and "laughter" back in my face.

i wish he'd act 1/2 his age.

we're ALL passionate about the cowboys or we'd not be here. but to have some one dance around in utter blindness going HA HA YOU'RE SHEEP AND I'M REAL is just stupid, ignorant, and begging for attention.

he's either someone who quit growing mentally at 15 or he's a bigger attention ***** than brittney spears and almost as intelligent.

if he wants respect, he has to give it. i didn't make that rule but i damn sure learned it long ago. if i had a "friend" that laughed at me every time we disagreed i'd lose a friend.

I don't think many want only sunshine post about the team they want the good and the bad but when any person is constantly ragging on the team then were is the open mindness in the post?

I love it when some of you guys can only remember the stuff I post or put on my blog that is seen as ragging on the team.

It's typical.

When the Cowboys win this place is dead. When they lose everyone and their mother is on here barking.

I guess I never post any highlight vids when we win. I guess I never post audio of good interviews after a win.

I guess I have never put together any vids about highlighting players who are helping the team win gemes.

:lmao:

I guess I never did any shows where we all fell all over each other after a big win.

:lmao:

More comedy from Cowboyszone.

I have to go add an interview of Steve Dennis to my blog.

I will be back later to battle the homers later.

He called out the entire Zone. Maybe you missed that? I wasn't going to say a thing until he put down the entire board.

but since he is your bud I will not say another thing to the guy.

Knock it off.

It's just internet persona's, really. You get so heavily invested in your point of view, and having it be "right" so that you can gain some sort of "internet credibility", that you end up becoming this cartoonish heel.

I think I did it when Parcells left and everyone wanted to blame him for everything, including the ebola virus and Ryan Seacrest.

Alot of good posters are doing it now.

Sometimes it's best to just shut off the Cowboyszone. Just watch free internet porn.

The Cowboys were just shooting the messenger last year. The "us vs them" division last year was within the lockerroom. That's why Jerry ate $9 million dollars to send one of his marquee players on his way to Buffalo.

Nothing wrong with the "us vs them" as long as the "them" are out of the lockerroom.

Exactly. How can anyone not see the difference?

I dont always agree with DC's opinions but I do appreciate all the stuff he brings to the table like the Videos and interviews with Broadus and Sturm.

But in my opinion Wade isn't nearly as terrible as DCfanatic acts like he is.

I've seen the Cowboys players blow to many games that the coach couldn't control and seen Wade get the blame for it to know that he is not nearly as bad as people think.

Where Wade screws up is how he represents himself and the team through the media.

You just can't do that in Dallas or you'll get ate up quick.

It is a waste of energy though. They are united against the evil media picking poor Wade Phillips. So what? Is that going to win games? I think it would be a first, but I guess it is okay to give it a shot.

Get angry and get mad at the teams that beat you, rub your noses in it and that challenge you.

There have been examples in this very thread of the media causing players to band together. The fact you ignored those means you just don't want to hear the truth.

It could be meaningless or it could mean they play hard and together putting together a great effort. Both things have happened in this league.

In 2008 the media was a villain but the "rat" was the bigger story and that was team turmoil not unity so about as far away form this as one can get.

Just like Wade's press conferences or bumpkin image none of it means anything other than if it affects winning/losing.

Obviously, one can't have it both ways. Either this stuff matters both good and bad or it doesn't matter at all.

admit it homer, you'd break down into an emotional basketcase if you couldn't use emotes for 24 hours. for a "writer" you sure do use a lot of crutches.

At least until I can find another angle to have some fun.

I don't personally hate the guy. I don't know him and probably never will so my opinion of his stuff on these forums has nothing to do with that.

I'm sure he's a great guy away from the forums. I'm not debating that cause, again, I don't know him.

I don't dislike his opinion, or his crappy show (Of which I'll admit I've listened two a total of 2 times. One time last year and one time this year so I don't have a giant sampling pool of which to say it's a crappy show. I simply thought it was crappy the two times I bothered to catch it and haven't bothered since), have everything to do with how he carries himself on here, and on his show, and nothing to do with him as a person outside of those two forums.

He's a lot like a few others around here who are just as annoying, and deserve just as little respect, cause he thinks he's the Holy Grail of opinions on the Dallas Cowboys and what he thinks, believes, and says is the way it is and the reality of life and anyone who disagrees is just a mindless homer who couldn't possibly be correct.

I'm not a fan of people like that and as long as they're giving that little respect then they'll get that little respect in return as far as I'm concerned.

But that doesn't mean I know rather or not he'd be a great guy or not behind the scenes cause I don't.

There is still a divide, one player, most likely a group of players feels the same old **** is happening, while another group is blowing sunshine up our *** telling us that loser Wade is a decent headcoach.

As you were asked earlier if you find the people on the zone so utterly repulsive, why not find a new board DCC would be to your liking I believe

this is what i said earlier also.

if he wants respect, he has to give it. verbally abusing people who disagree with you is just, well, someone who has no confidence of their own.

No, I didn't miss that and in truth I thought he was wrong. You can talk to him all you want. I'm just telling you guys, I know him, and he's a truly good guy.

He and I have talked for hours on the phone, off the air. He's just frustrated with this team. I don't agree with his takes on a lot of stuff. He doesn't agree with mine either.

That's life.

There are probably a few exceptions no doubt, but I do believe if most of the posters that post on this website were having a conversation in real life and not on a forum that for the most part we would all get along great.

Disagreement in writing on a forum often comes off as much more confrontational than it would in real life.

I argue with a guy in real life all the time about the Cowboys. If I typed on this forum what I have said to his face, I would have probably been banned a 1000 times.

However, if I was in dire straits my friend that I argue with all the time in real life would be the first to help me out in a bind.

I try key word "try" to remember that 99.9% of the people posting here are good people. I am sure one day this post will be thrown in my face, and probably for good reason as it can be easy to get lost in the moment.
