He is 29 years old and in his 7th season, that is a fact. You can't make Romo a 3rd year player, he isn't. And that is what a lot of people try to do. Using that logic then Sage Rosenfels is a rookie, since he has never had a complete season starting. Who knows, maybe after 14 years he will be a break out rookie ;)

I'm not really trying to argue this but surely you're not saying that Aikman starting 7 seasons is the same as Romo being in the league 7 seasons? Surely you aren't trying to say that's a fair comparison?

Well, with any luck, hopefully Wade is watching what the Prevent Defense does in close games - it loses you the game.

Bironas probably feels pretty bad right now, too. Make that chip-shot earlier and this game ends 20 minutes ago with 1 in the W column for the Titans.

you said he was in his 7th season as a starter...thats false.....he cant put up stats or wins from the bench , and with Parcells there was no way he was gonna play ahead of Vinny or Drew until Parcells stubborn *** was convinced he had to.....so all we have to go by is their first starts...sorry if that ruins your arguement

You must like baseball :) this isn't baseball. I didn't vote Aikman into the hall of fame on the first ballot. Football people did. And no one is talking about Romo and the hall of fame right now.
Yeah, I didn't think you'd actually respond to a factual argument, which is why I didn't offer it early on.

This is why I don't like NFL overtime. The Steelers were awarded a free drive to win the game. What did they do to earn an extra free drive? Something needs to be tweaked....

I'm saying a guy's career is what it is. If Romo didn't start until his 4th year it is because the coaches didn't think he was the best guy at the time. Aikman started from day 1 because he was the best QB on the roster from day 1. He earned what he got, from season 1 to season 7. Romo has earned what he has accomplished to this point, and when his career is over we can properly evaluate it. He is still a 7 year guy no matter how you cut it.
