Well that was a lot take in.
R+L=J confirmed.
High Septon, Margary, Mace, Loras, Lancelot and the Sept gone.
Ships headed to Westeros and Dorne.
Arya pulls the perfect faceless man routine.
Tommen lands hard.

Sansa is so sketch, and I can't figure out why. Of all the people she can be honest with, John is the one.

I also have no idea how Arya became so skilled, considering she never completed the training. Now she's a master assassin and able to change faces, how many people did she even successfully assassinate while at The House?

Also have no idea why Bran wouldn't be asking questions about the Night King's mark, he's already seen it destroy protection magic before, and now he's going to cross the wall... the only thing keeping the south safe.

There are holes for me, but obviously I love the show and I'm willing to roll with it. Pumped to see how things wrap up.

Great Episode

-Not quite a Stark family reunion, but looks like all the Starks, as well as a cousin will be back at Winterfell early next season.
-Did not believe Arya was going to be the one to kill Walter Frey. Thought the brotherhood without banners snuck someone in. Wonder if she planned on killing Jamie as well...
-Lady Lyanna Mormont remembers, nice of her to shame the rest of the Northern Lords into remembering their vows.
-Look on little finger's face, priceless. But, he isn't done, far from it. His best play, by far was convincing Sansa to declare herself lady of Winterfell, but she deferred to Jon, which is a setback to his plans.
-Now that R+L = J, Bran can tell Jon that he is no Stark, but Ned's blood runs through his veins.
-All hail Queen Cersei, long her rein may be (or not).
-Gotta give Cersei credit, I expected her plan to back fire.
-So literally the entire world is joining forces against the Lannisters.
-House Martell and House Tyrell from the south, House Stark and possibly House Aryn from the north and Daenerys and House Greyjoy coming from the east.
-Also, that look on Jamie's face...he's the Valonqar
-Sam becoming a maester is some how going to become important, not sure how, don 't care that much either. At this point we already know Valyrian steel and Obsidian are the only way to kill White Walkers, not sure what great thing he will discover, but it will be something.

Can't wait till season 7, wonder if it will focus more on the North's battle with the undead will that only happen once Daenerys takes what is hers.

Epic episode. The creativity of the filmaking also made it special. Moving from the baby to Jon Snows face was priceless. Interaction between Tyrion and Kahleesi was special. Jon telling the woman that save him to get out of Dodge. Cersai finally got what she so long wanted, the Iron Throne. Jamie looked really pissed off. Sansa used Littlefinger in the way Littlefinger always used everyone else. The little snotty nosed kid that gave Jon and Sansa 62 soldiers got everyone worked up to give Jon his honor. Arya putting Water Freys kids in the cake was good. And then watching her do to Walter what Walter did her mom was pure eye for eye. And Cersai getting even with the Shame Shame woman. So much in this episode I DVRd it to watch again. I know I missed a lot. Great Episode. Love it more than Last week.

The Arya situation I get... she is a master assassin, she learned to use the face, she drank the poison, which healed her (twice), she can fight blindly... as Jaqen said... A girl has many gifts....
which she does... and he let her leave with them.

Funny the baby, jon snow transition was obvious.. but perfect none the less.

What I really liked was the static medium wide frame when tommen was at the window, he exits frame... they hold on it for like 7 seconds.. he comes back and swan dives out... awesome...

It was short and the episode had bigger more significant moments but the scene where Olenna Tyrell puts the Sand Snakes in their places was priceless in my book.

It very well still could. Jaime is not going to be pleased and the theories are already becoming more realistic that he will indeed repeat the past and take out the mad queen.

I’ve been lurking in this thread for the past couple of years. I just watched tonight’s episode…I thought it was just great, about as good as tv drama gets. Like someone else said, I thought it was the best filmmaking of the entire series. The camerawork, the foreboding music, that great scene with Tyrion and Daenerys, the baby-to-Jon-Snow moment, the staging of Tommen's swan dive, the tiny-queen and her machinations at Rob’s court, Arya’s “Don Corleone sends his regards” moment…I don’t remember a bad or wasted scene. Whoever directed this episode, kudos to them.

One hunch/prediction about Jamie’s fate (and I know this has been speculated about widely). He’s now set up to be the big tragic figure in the series. After saving Kings Landing from the Mad King’s wildfire, and being ridiculed throughout the kingdom for it, he’s now probably going to save the city again from Cersei (I’m guessing she’s got more of the Highly Flammable Green Slime stashed and ready to use when Daenerys comes to open up the dragon whupass), and he’ll be forever known as the Queenslayer as well, and the murderer of his own sister/lover/co-parent to boot. He’ll probably be put to death for it, maybe even by his own sword.

Awesome stuff.

Great episode! although I was expecting to see the white walkers breakin down the wall by episodes end, so that was disappointing.......

I think I loved Pycells death the best, and probably the longest overdue.....

biggest question I have is.....just what exactly is the Mountain doing/gonna do to ms. "confess! Shame!"?

Varys have frequent flyer mileage or what?

Jk

Loved the whole episode. I always say there will be an oh crap moment in the finals... Tommen's out of nowhere was a big one. Knew he had to die at some time but that was a shocker and done so well.

Not frequent flyer, but apparently a Tardis.

And although autocorrect throughly had its way with you, I agree that Tommen's scene was a nice surprises.
